Loren and WET Hostel truly surpassed my expectations! I loved working at the hostel, meeting people from all over the world, and experiencing all of the crazy parties this island had to offer. I will definitely be back in the future!

My experience was more than incredible! I had such a great time ❤️ the staff and my fellow volunteers were so welcoming and super fun, Kho Pahngan is a beautiful island, the beach is 5 min walking from the hostel and the tasks are simple and fun to do, the hours are respected and it's very chill environment! Thank you so much for having me! Hopefully I will comeback after summer! ❤️

Volunteering at Wet was such a blast, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to meet new people and have a good time! We worked during the full moon parties, we had shifts and different things to do during the day but I genuinely enjoyed it all. We were like one big family with the other volunteers which made the experience even more special ❤️

My experience at WEET was amazing! I learned so much from the entire team and the other volunteers. I improved my English and Spanish, and we worked hard on event days while still enjoying every moment. I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity! 🤍

While staying here, I found the living conditions to be quite challenging. The volunteer spaces weren't very comfortable, and several aspects of the accommodation made it difficult to rest or feel settled. I fully understand that volunteering often comes with basic housing, but in this case the conditions were below what I've experienced in other work-exchange environments. For anyone considering volunteering here, I'd recommend keeping an open mind, being flexible, and prepared for things to be a bit informal in terms of direction and workflow. Direct message me for any further questions.

I want to be fair and honest in this review- i did choose to leave after one night, so this review is based off of a very brief experience. however, i feel that it is import to note that as a SOLO FEMALE traveller, i DID NOT FEEL SAFE here. perhaps this would be different for others. i arrived at the hostel and there was around 15 volunteers, and not a single guest staying at the hostel. not a single volunteer that i spoke to seemed to have any idea who was in charge, and they said that they hadn't done any volunteer work, but lived there for free. the place itself was also uncared for.

Bizarre review. You had direct access to staff onsite, via group chat & Worldpackers but you chose to sneak out while everyone was sleeping without speaking to anyone. Every other volunteer knew exactly what was going on & had no problems.

As you read in our description AND the screening questions you agreed to AND AGAIN in our response message before confirming, we let guests stay for free between work periods.

We've hosted HUNDREDS of solo female travelers with no problems.

The full moon party dates were amazingly fun and the shifts were exactly as advertised, which was the biggest plus of this experience! The staff were very kind and the other volunteers were amazing. The team dorm is NOT the one advertised in the photos. The one for volunteers is a bit bigger but has 14 ish people in one room, and it's CRAMPED. The wifi kept going out outside of full moon dates which caused problems for the volunteers that work. The kitchen had one fridge and one burner across 20+ people and was always a wreck. Overall, the work was solid and the space was less good.

I loved the team of volunteers I worked with, everyone was so amazing and we became so close. The work was pretty easy and flexible- you only have to work the five days of full moon even if you stay for multiple weeks. Although I had fun, the sleeping conditions for volunteers are really not great. We dealt with no AC, awful toilets (one had no light and the other smelt so bad because the drain was broken so you couldn't shower) and a really dark crowded room. Also the beds are so uncomfortable. If you're not that fussed about your sleeping conditions then i recommend!

I really enjoyed the experience, the work was relatively easy and more intense only during the full moon. However, I have some reservations. We had problems with the room, as the air conditioning and the bathroom were not working properly. We were relocated but it took a few days. The kitchen is not a clean place, so I didn't use it. During the full moon, electronic music played 24 hours a day, making it very difficult to sleep. However, I enjoyed the experience with the team and the other volunteers. Good if you want to party a lot.
