WET hostel was a great choice for my first Worldpackers experience! If you stay there for several weeks, you really get to see both sides of the island. Around full moon, it gets really crowded and travelers from all over the world come together to party. Whereas the other days are peaceful and relaxed. If you wanna have a good time & meet a lot of people, it's definitely the right place to stay in! :)

I had a great time with the other volunteers and had time to explore the island on the quiet days. Nevertheless the dorm is super dark and not spacious and the bathrooms are pretty dirty. Would still recommend if you want to party and meet people!

The host wasn't welcoming was hard to find who the boss was around the area. The other backpackers were amazing, however just wasn't the overall vibe that i was expecting!

It was my first worldpacker experience and i really liked it !! you only work during full moon and it's a really easy work and we get discounts on every party ! i would recommend if you want to explore the island and party !

My stay at Wet hostel was good. Keep in mind that it is a PARTY hostel, so there will be loud music (edm) playing all night long for the week of the full moon. Bathrooms and showers outside were good, but the ones in the dorm were unusable. You work long days during the week of the full moon, but outside of that you are free to do whatever you want. I met lifelong friends here & Loren was very accommodating to me ending my stay early to travel to different parts of Thailand.

During my stay at WET I connected with all of the volunteers and had a lot of fun working with everyone. I stayed for a month, and during that time I worked a total of 4 days, which was awesome! It's nice getting free entry to the parties and the work is very chill. During my time at WET, when it was not the full moon week, I was able to leave for a bit and go to a neighboring island which was nice. The team room was not that great, but you get used to it. Overall I am glad I went, for the connections that I made, and for the experiences.

I had an amazing time at the hostel and Wondering the hostel! You have a lot of free time to explore the island and even when you do have work it doesn't feel like you're actually working. If you're not a party animal i would not recommend this experience, there will be playing loud music all night for almost a week, so just keep that in mind if you're considering going:)

Without a doubt, this was a different experience from my 7 previous volunteering. The work is simple and although during the full moon week we worked 8 hours a day, the rest of the days were completely free to enjoy the beautiful beaches. Thank you dear Sao and Loren for being so warm and attentive to us. The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the bathrooms, lighting in the volunteer dormitory and also preventing the lack of water and electricity in the hostel, which was the reason why we had to leave the hostel several days before the agreed date.

Volunteering at Wet has been the most relaxed volunteering of all that I have done, we only "work" the week of the full Moon party and the rest of the time you do practically nothing. The task to are simple and easy to perform. If you like to party and the beach, this is the perfect place for you. You can have a full party the week of Full Moon and total relaxation the rest of the days. Thank you Sao, you're so great!

My boyfriend and I had a great time at WET and on Koh Phangan, this scene is all about party vibes and socializing. Working with Sao, the manager, was very easygoing. Living conditions were pretty decent. the workload is lighter when there is no full moon, But when those parties kick off, get ready for non-stop work. Met some really cool people there, and would do it all again.
