The experience

Join our family in Jinja, Uganda, where we work, learn, and grow together! We're looking for volunteers passionate about social work to help w/ community projects, teaching, and local outreach. What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: Volunteers contribute $10 to cover water, food and power


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner English

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers


What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

Our volunteers for 4hours per day for five days in a week
Our volunteers can rest if he or she doesn't feel good

Activities & Shift

1. Resting and studying the environment first day. Involves connecting with our people at the organization
2.Village walks. Involves studying the local plants, trees, herbs and community activities
3. Teaching kids. Here our volunteers can Teach our kids anything that he or she can
4.Gardening. We get time to go for Gardening as to take part in our local production
5. Education . Here a volunteers make choose to go to our local schools and volunteers in anything of his or her choice

*Our volunteers have to politely obey their day-to-day programmers

*Before going anywhere else our volunteers have to request a day so as to make favorable plans

*For as far as our culture we prefer our volunteers to pay respect to our culture
