Teaching German while staying in Vietnam's most populous city will be the adventure of a lifetime. We will provide accommodation, meal allowance, and meetups with other volunteers. Join our C4C family and experience the charm of Ho Chi Minh City.

What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

Are you passionate about teaching German and eager to experience a new culture? We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to teach German in the vibrant metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Your Responsibilities:

- Prepare and deliver engaging German lessons to students of various age groups and proficiency levels.
- Develop lesson plans and teaching materials to meet the specific needs of the students.
- Create a positive and interactive learning environment.
- Participate in cultural exchange activities and local events.

Your Qualifications:

- Fluency in German (native speaker or C1+ level).
-Prior teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not required.
-A strong passion for teaching and sharing your culture.
-Adaptability and an open-minded attitude towards new experiences.

Activities & Shift

Your working hours will be 18-20 hours a week with 2 days off per week.
In your free time, you will be able to explore Ho Chi Minh City and take part in the online and offline events that C4C will host.

Rules

(For 12 weeks): We ask for a deposit of $100 from all volunteers. $15 will be used for registration fees and $85 will be refunded to the volunteer after the commitment is completed.
(For 6 months): We ask for a deposit of $150 from all volunteers, $15 will be used for registration fees and $135 will be refunded to the volunteer after the commitment is completed.
