My experience with Yat was amazing. My partner and I went too teach English. We got a private room and we were only expected to teach for 3 hours of the day meaning we had the rest of the day too explore the country side. It was a great experience. Mama Orns cooking was amazing. All traditional home cooked meals. The kids at the school were very friendly and eager to learn. Overall, a great experience and I would love to come back.

Wonderful experience with great people. Yat is so kind and he has a big heart. The children at the school were amazing and very welcoming. The homestay with Mama Orn and her family was a highlight. She also has a very big heart as do her boys. There are things to do in the village , you can use the bikes and explore. It is in a rural environment but you will hear karaoke throughout the village throughout your stay !

Our experience at ACCF couldn't have been better. We felt welcomed and taken care of from the first moment. Yat is an amazing host and the stay in the house was great. Mak Mak Orn always made sure we tried the best local food and that everything was alright. It is a joy to meet the kids at the school and to be able to teach them along with the other volunteers. The children range from 3-18 but are equally grateful for your help. Events take place from time to time at the village and we were even able to join a wedding, making the experience unforgettable.

I really enjoyed my stay at Yat's school: it's a great place to teach English. Students are willing to learn and want to learn about the volunteers' life, studies and work. The school is not in Siem Reap itself but in the village of Prasat Bakong: it gives us the opportunity to live in the countryside and be with locals. Yat organized different outings : we went to the local markets, the floating village, the lobster festival. In the evening we played cards and of course we sang!!! Mama Orn our host cooked delicious food and I really loved it.

This was my first volunteer experience I am truly grateful for it! Yat and his family are the most kind people I have met. I loved my days with the children. I could teach them, get to know their reality better, and I also helped Yat with his social media making a video about my experience. I could understand how important is this project for those children. They love to go to the school, study and interact with the volunteers! We also had amazing meals made from Mama Orn, Yat's sister, and I was lucky to get invited to a wedding and a fish festival during my stay!! it was amazing! thank you!

The 3 weeks I spent there were incredible. The homestay is very peaceful, with daily fresh/tasty food, cooked by MamaOrn, the friendly owner. Her family is welcoming and always ready to make you discover their culture. The room is quiet. The volunteering was a very nice experience. It was the first time I taught a language and the kids are willing to learn new things. They are very friendly during the classes/breaks. They taught me a lot. Yat is a very friendly man, always caring about your wellbeing. He is an amazing human-being. Thank you a lot my friend, I keep you in my heart boss 🫶

Staying at Mr. Yat's place was one of the best experiences I've had in my life, and for sure on my whole 2,5 months trip. He is a great man! Filled with love for everyone, no matter if he likes you or not. And because of that the stay was wonderful. Also the school where we thought, had some really good facility's for the kids. Of course there is some thinks that has to be sorted out (it's unavoidable), but all together it was a great place. Would absolutely recommend this place for anybody who wants to, travel to the school. You really feel like a part of the family ❤️

An incredible and unforgettable experience with Yat, the kids/students, khmer teachers and the local family. I recommend this the school at 100%. The students are so smiling, and their eagerness to learn English is indescribable. They are all very endearing, and you don't want to leave after that… We also did paintings for the clean water project construction. We have a lot of free times and you can spend beautiful moments with the family.

I didn't expect to enjoy my time with the local community and host family as much as I did. Every moment was wonderful—sharing homemade meals daily, dancing, and having fun together. The host family was incredibly kind and always ready to help, making me feel like I was part of their own family. The students were lovely, and I had such a great time teaching English and playing with the kids. It was truly a memorable experience. If given the chance, I would absolutely love to return in the future. Plus, the internet worked perfectly, which was a nice bonus. I highly recommend this experience

We had such an amazing time at Mr Yat's school! ACCF really tries to make a difference and helps kids to improve their English. It felt like we genuinely contributed to this goal. Besides teaching, we could also help with maintaining the school property or shooting social media content 💪🏻 Mr. Yat showed us around the area and took us to local festivities. We felt like a appreciated part of the community. Also, Mama Orn's house felt like home. She and her family are the most kind-hearted people 🫶🏻 and also the cooking is fantastic! We hope to come back one day!!!
