I had a wonderful experience staying here The accommodation is comfortable and well maintained, and the food is delicious with three meals provided daily, along with drinks. Alice, the host's daughter, is incredibly kind and always ready to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable environment

An amazing experience, I hope to come back someday! The hotel is located right in the center of Vang Vieng, and you can rent a bike or scooter to explore the area. The rooms are very nice, and free laundry is provided at the hotel. There's a great selection for breakfast, and the lunches and dinners are delicious and always on time. The atmosphere is fantastic, and I felt welcomed and well taken care of by the owners. Highly recommend! :)

I had the pleasure of volunteering at the hostel for a week and it was an incredible experience! Linda and her team provided a comfortable room, three delicious meals a day, and generous discounts on bike rentals and tours. The administrative tasks were fulfilling. I had to work for five hours helping with the guest check-in process, working on their systems, and discussing how we can attract more guests. The warm hospitality and beautiful surroundings made my stay truly memorable. Highly recommend!!

I had a wonderful experience voulenteering here the people are friendly and it was a nice and easy place to start my first ever voulenteering experience abroad. The other staff are lovely people who I enjoyed working along side. I mostly did reception work . The accommodation was clean and very comfortable, the food was great and we always eat all together like family. I would come back here again and would recommend to other people

Voluntering at Confetti Garden Resort was an amazing experience. We were warmly welcomed and the working hours were flexible, and the work itself was easy to handle. The accomodation was amazing as well as the food. We got the chance to meet other voluteers, going on tours and rent a motorbike to explore the city, as the resort is close to the center and very easy to access. We definitely recommend this volunteer experience. Thanks so much for receving us.

I loved my stay at the hostel! I worked at reception for ~5 hrs/day, sometimes more but I didn't mind because it wasn't that complex. We had 3 delicious meals a day, mostly Thai or Vietnamese food. Linda and her family are all wonderful people, I hung out with her daughter Alice a lot, and they have the cutest dog ever! Vang Vieng is a beautiful town, very walkable, you can go out and do tours, and the hotel is right next to the night market. It was a very relaxing stay, and I had a big clean room for just me and another volunteer. Met lots of friendly guests too- would love to come back!

DO NOT volunteer here unless you want to work reception in an empty hostel or busy hotel, as despite what's on Worldpackers site, this is the only work they have. Most of the hostel is still under construction, the rooftop bar doesn't exist yet and there are little to no guests. Linda the host is very disorganised and rarely communicates with us at all. The volunteers ended up making up their own schedule. The staff in the hotel were not very friendly either. Big breakfast every day but lunch and dinner are just leftovers from breakfast. All the volunteers left within a week when I was here.

I had a good time volunteering at the hostel / Confetti Garden Resort. The food was tasty, the beds comfortable, free laundry was provided and Linda & Alice are really nice! The tasks are manageable but the hostel was still under construction which made some confusion and I did not really da lot of the tasks which I applied for (painting & decorating) instead I predominantly did reception work which was fine:) However the communication especially before the stay needs improvement and the organization and management as well. Still I really enjoyed my time in Vang Vieng, thank you for hosting me!

Was a really enjoyable time at the hostel, we got to meet other volunteers, use hotel facilities and were fed and accommodated accordingly. Linda the boss was also lovely and welcoming. We would say, if you are working on reception you do feel slightly thrown in the deep end at first, however it's easy to get the hang of and quite enjoyable as it is fairly relaxed. A lot of the guests are older guests or families coming on holiday. All in all a good experience for our first time.
