Program Details
We ask for help 5 days per week, around 4 hours per day. The main tasks involve preparing and improving the theatre space as well as organizing the area and creating new arrangements. Painting and decorative work is very welcome if you have interest or skills in this area.
We strongly believe in a real exchange, your help, but also making sure your stay is enjoyable, meaningful, and enriching. This is a place to learn, share, and slow down, and to enjoy the activities available on the property or in the surrounding area.
Our homestay is located in a small, very quiet village, about 30 km from the city, surrounded by rice fields and mountains. We invite volunteers to experience this environment as it is, rather than trying to recreate city life. Of course, we are open and flexible and happy to adapt to your interests and help where we can, but we truly see this place as an opportunity to disconnect from routines and reconnect with nature and creativity.
Activities & Shift
Work is organised in the mornings, from 9am to midday, tasks are assigned depending on the day and the work progress. We provide food as follow, basic breakfast ingredients are available in the kitchen for mornings, lunch and dinner are homecooked and shared at our place.
Rules
We live in a simple, shared, and respectful way. Volunteers are expected to help keep common areas clean and organized, including their own living space. This includes light daily cleaning, washing dishes after use, and respecting shared tools and materials.
We value responsibility, communication, and initiative. If something is unclear or if you need help, we encourage open and honest communication. Being on time, respecting agreed working hours, and taking care of the space as if it were your own is important to us.
This is a calm and peaceful place, so we expect respect for the environment, the village, and each other. We appreciate a positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to contribute to a harmonious shared experience.
