Join us in Mwanza, Tanzania, and make a meaningful impact by helping educate vulnerable children. As a volunteer, you’ll support daily lessons, engage with students through creative activities, and help them reach their full potential. Outside of your volunteering hours, explore the stunning Lake Victoria, visit local markets, or hike in the nearby hills. What you offer
5 hours of help per day
Child Care:
Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Elderly Care:
Assisting and spending time with the elderly.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Get free drinks or beverages.:

Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Language lessons:
Take free language classes at our place.

Program Title: Hope in Action
Program Overview:
The Hope in Action is designed to engage community members in meaningful volunteer opportunities that contribute to specific goals, community development, environmental conservation, education, health services Sports, etc. Our program aims to foster a spirit of collaboration, enhance community well-being, and provide volunteers with valuable experiences that promote personal growth and skill development.
Program Objectives:
1. Community Engagement: Connect volunteers with local organizations and initiatives addressing pressing community needs.
2. Skill Development: To provide volunteers with training and resources that enhance their skills and knowledge in specific areas, e.g., leadership, teamwork, and project management.
3. Awareness and Advocacy: To raise awareness
Activities & Shift
1. Education Support Volunteer
Daily Activities:
• Morning Briefing (30 minutes): Attend a daily meeting with the education coordinator to discuss goals for the day and review lesson plans.
• Parent Engagement (1 hour): Communicate with parents or guardians about their child’s progress, offering resources and support for at-home learning.
• Feedback and Reporting (30 minutes): Document daily activities, student
2. Family Empowerment Volunteer
Daily Activities:
•Community Assessment as (1 hour): Conduct assessments in the community to identify families in need of support and resources.
• Resource Distribution (2 hours): Assist in distributing educational materials
Sports Program Volunteer
Daily Activities:
• Morning Planning Session (30 minutes): Meet with the sports coordinator to review the day’s activities, including drills, games, and special events.
