Vibrant international eco-community creating a sustainable future

The eco village is a magical place that quickly felt like home. Nestled in the peaceful Apennines, it offers cozy rooms, delicious food, and unforgettable people — open, kind, and inspiring. The main downside was the lack of organization; with around 40 volunteers, stronger and more consistent leadership is needed. Still, the experience was deeply refreshing and gave me a true taste of Italy. Despite minor flaws, it's a solid 10/10 for me.

The eco village is amazing! I had a life changing experience there. I would recommend it to any traveler. The people are incredible, the environment is beautiful, and the vision for the project is wonderful. I had so much fun working with people from all over the world. We worked hard but had plenty of time to relax. There is a beautiful pool and lovely hikes all around the property. The community at the eco village is close knit and the connections are strong. I will not soon forget it. I will admit that it is still a young project and could improve in organization and structure but those will come.

Beautiful nature and meaningful connections with other volunteers really made the experience worthwhile. However, the project doesn't reflect what's advertised: there's no active syntropic agriculture or forest school, and tasks are very disorganized. High turnover and the host's approach create more of a hostel or summer camp vibe than a true community. There's a lack of structure, basic safety (not even essential gear like gloves for construction), and a clear vision for those seeking a solid, purpose-driven project. Two weeks felt like the right amount of time for me.

At the eco village, I had the time and freedom to socialise with a beautiful group of people, enjoy nature, develop skills, and work on personal projects. The location and property awed me, and the meals were fresh and wonderful every day. the eco village is in its infancy and there is so much that still needs to be done - this is a good place for you if you are interested in helping this project grow. Unfortunately, I couldn't align myself morally with the project, especially after discussing the origins and influences from which it was founded.

Our experience was mixed (3.5/5).Arrival was unorganized and not welcoming as aspected. Some rooms were moldy and smelled bad, while others were decent, seemingly reserved for long-term volunteers. We raised our concerns with Benjamin, but he didn't take the feedback well and barely spoke to us afterward. This left us feeling a bit disrespected. All the volunteers and staff were kind, the food (mostly vegan/vegetarian) was really great, and the work was fair and well-organized. The area is beautiful but remote, with little to do besides hiking. Overall, the people and nature made it worthwhile.

Felix & Theresa were offered the best room in the house for the first week of their stay. This suite (double balcony, private kitchenette, ensuite bathroom) was temporarily free and we gifted it to them, on the condition they move to standard accommodation a week later. Their behaviour was then undignified: they said that these rooms (popular with volunteers) were 'for Brazilians, but we Swiss are used to different standards'. This summarised their attitude: entitled, arrogant, and mean-spirited

Even though I only stayed here for 10 days and didn't connect with the project, I'm thankful for the chance to meet amazing volunteers. From the very beginning, I was welcomed with warm hugs and big smiles. I'll take with me the connections I made. Unfortunately my accommodation was not comfortable and not like the ones shown in pictures and definitely need improvement.

It's a place immersed in nature where you can reconnect with it. In my stay I found very nice people. The work hours are not too impactful on the rest of the day and you can enjoy your stay by relaxing in the afternoon or go for a hike or visiting little towns.

Volunteering at the eco village was incredible. I learned so much about myself and had the chance to reflect and grow. The rooms were comfortable with a private bathrooms. The food was delicious and we got to try dishes from all over the world. The people were warm, open and welcoming, which made it easy to connect and feel part of a community. Each day was packed with exciting activities, so there was always something new to do or learn. We had the flexibility to choose tasks depending on how we felt. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience unforgettable moments in a stunning place!

The eco village provides an opportunity to fully immerse yourself in a really beautiful way of life. Tasks are varied and you'll connect with some amazing people from around the world. Living in a community, the volunteering feels truly meaningful and it's especially exciting to be part of a newer project. With fresh food (vegan friendly!), a private room, flexible work, and activities like pizza nights and hikes, volunteers are 100% taken care of. I celebrated my birthday here and it felt like a home away from home. I'm incredibly grateful for the experience and look forward to returning next year!

Our experience at the eco village was amazing . We were only there for 8 days, but the connection we made with the volunteers acquired a depth that made it feel like a lifetime. It was our first experience of community life as a couple. We had a private room, with private bathroom, in good conditions for sleeping and 3 daily meals (abundant, healthy and delicious). After breakfast and team meeting, we divide daily tasks and fulfilled the schedule from 9 to 13.15, before lunch. Volunteers are then free to move, rest or participate in recreational activities. The place is so beautiful!!unforgettable!!!
