The experience

Hello, we are a small family, living in the beautiful island of Pico in the Azores,We need some extra hands to help us maintain the garden and surrounding . We need 25 hours weekly hours but very flexible on the days and times . In working days we provide lunch and you will have also a kitchen that you can use for any other meal. The tasks will be in the garden/ basic wood work / painting and general maintenance of the property.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English

Between 23 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Working in the garden - preparation /build and plant vegetables and fruits garden .
help with some wood works diy projects, cleaning and maintenance the chicken coop and general cleaning

Activities & Shift

We are Flexible on the hours of work , you will have the caravan for yourself with everything you need and have the outdoor kitchen for self cooking as well provide only lunch in working days .

Rules

Respect each other and nature around you , be kind to each other and No use of any kind of drugs . Check in times when first arrive is between 10:00 am to 18:00 , please make sure you not arrive after this time .
