Help us Renovate our Family Home & Garden, and Explore Chouf City

The experience

We need someone to help us renovate the house , which has been left empty for several years. Need someone to assist us in renovating the interior and cleaning the exterior garden , removing all dry plants, cleaning around the house and getting the place back in shape. We are a family of three , and are always happy to meet new people from all around the world. And it would be a great opportunity to have an extra hand to help us with the house.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent Arabic or Fluent English

Between 18 and 29 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

- Main task:
They can choose from indoor cleaning or outdoor cleaning.
The indoor cleaning tasks are :
Dusting, disinfecting, and reorganizing furniture items. And helping in moving of small furniture items. Tasks also include Cleaning properly the ceiling, walls, windows, doors and floors. ( sweeping and mopping). Disinfecting and cleaning of all interior spaces, surfaces and areas.

The outdoor cleaning tasks are:

Removing the dry weeds in the garden. Sweeping the fallen tree leaves. Cutting the plant bushes, sweeping the garden floors, patios, balconies and stairs. And watering the garden. Reorganizing of garden furniture. Helping in cleaning all planters. Watering the plants and trees. Helping in Adding fertilizers to plants. Helping in mowing the grass and watering the grass.

Activities & Shift

Timing: Volunteers can choose working time:
7:00 AM to 11:00 AM . Or 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Days off: Saturdays and Sundays are off.

- I expect from volunteers to help in above task, in return we provide for them a room to stay.

- I am willing to teach them the basic tasks, and don't require previous experience.

- I have my brother with me at all times as team member to help the volunteers and teach them and guide them.
