The experience

Participants will be
a) Teaching Sports,Math, languages(French,English etc) & other subjects or extracurricular activities at schools, day care, collages and local community.
You give classes independently/alongside qualified teachers/other volunteers from different cultures
b)Attached to child care centres

c)Health care/Medical project: Nurses,Doctors etc will be attached to local hospitals. Medical students can also apply.


What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Program Details

This volunteering program provide participants with an opportunity to gain volunteer experience in Africa and specifically in Tanzania while improving healthcare/teaching outcomes in deprived communities. We offer affordable teaching and Medical volunteer opportunities for pre-meds, nurses, medical students and qualified professionals.

Our programs are designated to provide a participant with hand-on experience in medical field of interest within a specific department.

Generally scope of medical volunteer work vary depending on experience and participant needs.


Activities & Shift

Medical volunteer will specialize in the following areas :
Midwifery, Pediatrics, HIV/AIDS Support, Speech Therapy, Optometry, Dentistry, Paramedics, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Clinical Laboratory Science, Emergency Medicine (EMTs), Nutrition, Public Health, Orthopedics, Radiology.

Medical volunteering programs provides nursing and medical students or qualified professionals to gain relevant medical experience and observe clinical practice in Tanzania.
You’ll shadow local staff for your first few weeks on the project, while you find your feet and get acclimated. Then, your tasks will be tailored to your expertise, personality, ensuring a fulfilling experience that maximizes your impact.
From assisting with check-ups and basic care to managing patient data and lending a hand wherever necessary, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting local healthcare providers.

Professional certificates:
Participants who will be engaged in medical program will have to submit their professional certificate or college transcripts(for college students).

Professional teachers will also provide certificate

Teaching languages or sports does not necessarily require certificates
Day care volunteers are not obligated to professional certificates
