The hostel is a beautiful city with warm people, and I'm grateful to Moises for making my stay comfortable. The work (mostly cleaning and organizing) isn't hard, usually starting around 10-11 AM for a maximum of 4 hours, with 1-2 days off per week. Moises is a warm boss who works alongside us. He is very flexible with schedules as long as you communicate with him. Just a note: His workflow can seem a bit scattered at first because his mind is always full of work, but it's easy to figure out the routine quickly. And winter nights and mornings are freezing here, so definitely bring a warm jacket!🙏🏻

Working here for Moises was great fun! The tasks and hours were agreed before and it was stuck to. We helped clean both the hostel and the apartments as well as changing sheets. Which didn't take long and you had the afternoon off to do what you liked. Every morning we got breakfast which was always amazing and Moises showed us how to make popsicles and we got to help in the process. Overall had a great time here and I would recommend for anyone looking for a chill place to stay with a great host

Thank you so much for the past two weeks. Moises was always so kind and made sure we were comfortable at all times. I also loved the moments when we all shared breakfast together! (The food was absolutely delicious!) I've completely fallen in love with the hostel! Moises, I hope to see you again!! Thank you so much!!!

If you have the opportunity to volunteer here, do it! Moises is a sparse communicator over text, but an absolutely great guy who strives to make you and his guests feel at home. The work is simple and rewarding, and you will receive delicious meals every day cooked by Moises' mom. the hostel is an absolutely amazing city and the hostel gives you a good base to explore it and meet other travelers. I would 100% recommend a couple weeks or more to anyone considering the hostel!

The job is cleaning, really chill and not heavy. You have breakfast also. The hostel is located 15 min away from the center and the city is nice!

It was a super nice experience to volunteer at the hostel. Moises is a really nice and helpful host and he will try to make your stay as comfortable and fun as possible. Besides that it's very relaxed, because the hours of work are not that long and that leaves you with a lot of time to explore the city.

I had an amazing time at Trotamundos Hostel. First of all Moises is an incredible host who is not only super helpful but also lots of fun to talk to. He's very knowledgeable especially when it comes to the local area and has no shortage of recommendations for you, be it restaurants, sights to see or bars. The work is very simple and sometimes you get to help Moises out with other tasks which is really fun. The hostel is a short walk to the tourist centre and is right beside Central de Abastos de the hostel, the biggest market in the hostel. I can't recommend this place enough!

Moises is amazing! He works a lot and is juggling a lot of different projects all by himself. But he will still make sure to take the time to show you around the hostel and if there is something you would like to do you can always ask him for tips🙂 He's also a great guy to have a beer or two with!

A very peaceful place. I spent hours on the patio enjoying the homade local breakfast,cats,watching the clouds, and enjoying his small garden. The host is fun to talk to and have a cold one with. It is enjpyable to go on different adventures with. The work is very managable and simple. A short walk to central and in a very quite and safe neighborhood. Definately a good place to take time to relax and reflect.

This was a wonderful World Packers experience! My time spent at the hostel was fantastic, made even better by how lovely Moises is. The tasks are easy and you have plenty of time to explore the city and surrounds. Thanks again to Moises for showing me such an amazing time :)
