Join hands with our team to empower children in Uganda
The experience
Volunteers are encouraged to actively engage with staff and immerse themselves in the daily life of the community in Jinja, Uganda. You will work closely with the team to support programs focused on the care and development of local children.
This experience fosters meaningful connections with hosts and offers a genuine experience with the community’s daily challenges and culture, allowing you to make areal impactembracing the spirit of Uganda.
What you offer
18 hours of help per week
Arts:
Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.
Teaching Sports:
Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.
Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Certificate:
Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.
Dedicated Workspace:
Specific space for you to work remotely
Requirements
Beginner English
Between 20 and 70 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers
