The farm's farm provides a nutritious and diverse local vegan foods. The most exciting moment is when it's before the dinner time and we ( volunteers) have to prepare the meal together. She will tell us what to do, what herb to pick, so everyone has their jobs to do, and the outcome is always fantastic. However, she is a tough woman, which means she stays at a certain high standard at some things, and you're gonna have a bit of a harsh time when she started to demand. Besides, she is a very kind and caring person. Overall, the experience in the farm is pretty good.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. PLEASE TAKE THIS AS A WARNING AND READ BEFORE YOU GO HERE. I was supposed to stay for 3 weeks but ended up leaving after 10 days. First off, she has no manners and humanity, she will will NOT HELP YOU. She talks back to everything you will ask and won't let you use a scooter to go supermarket which just FYI is 7KM Away in the heat. There are meals mentioned on the package LOL, YOU ARE LUCKY IF YOU GET ONE MEAL. I made most of my meals myself PAID FOR THE GROCERIES TOO. Save your time and money, she dint even pay me back, shows charact

The farm has an amazing farm and home that she has nurtured over the years with a strong focus on helping her community and growing and using very local plants for food and natural medicines and creating her own useful products. One must understand that this is a working farm, with importance placed on achieving the set goals for the week as this greatly helps the farm to build up her home & farm. As a farmer, she can sometimes appear a little cold at times (particularly around meal times), but this is as a result of her driven goals. I think after a few days on the farm, you will get a good sense.

I truly learnt alot, appreciate farm living alot more and love how everything is linked. We had amazing food and felt that the farm tried very hard to accommodate our food needs even though we were happy to be Vegan. the farm was also very empathetic toward me as I had gotten ill and she took me to the hospital and gave me time to get better. I would recommend going to the farm as it humbles you and appreciate farm life and ours back home. Thank you the farm!!!

All in all I appreciated this experience. However, a few of the volunteers and I left a couple days early due to some different perspectives with the host. There is not always a set schedule and she can get frustrated when you don't remember what you're doing for the day even if it's changed several times. As some other people have mentioned, she also gets frustrated around meals. It sometimes seemed rushed to cook and the host would get aggravated when we asked questions it seemed we were expected to know. It made for a rocky last few days out of the 2 weeks, but the beginning was smoother!
