Program Details
Well, this project aims to empower rural producers and enthusiasts through economically and ecologically sustainable practices, so that they can remain and thrive in rural areas.
Beyond your contributions, you'll gain invaluable knowledge about sustainable agriculture techniques, from plant identification to compost preparation.
You'll play a vital role in this project by assisting with soil preparation for new seedlings, transplanting coffee plants, and native species, and applying mulch to conserve soil moisture and enrich the soil.
Activities & Shift
The volunteer routine here, from 7 am to 5 pm, is focused on carrying out activities on different work fronts. Generally, during meals, we organize ourselves regarding the activities, understanding how our day will be and the evolution of the processes, according to the established schedule.
Rules
We prioritize creating a supportive environment where volunteers can thrive. Our typical work schedule is weekdays, with the option to extend on Saturdays if desired (until noon). We often enjoy communal meals and explore the city and surrounding areas together.
Maintaining a clean and tidy space is important, as is fostering a friendly atmosphere among all volunteers. We value dedication and a willingness to learn, while also understanding the importance of flexibility.
