I had a quick 5 nights with the farm and his family on their farm. Everyone was so welcoming and kind, the work was interesting and not too hard. Only a few hours in the morning, and some in the afternoon if it's planting/harvest time. the farm and the family shared knowledge of many different plants and herbs with us, insight into local culture and showed us around the area. As my first time using world packers it was the perfect start! Highly recommended! The food was also delicious!

This was an amazing volunteer position. This was my first time volunteering anywhere in the world, the family welcomed and looked after me like one of there own. I'm already planning to return in the future. I enjoyed working with the women in the rice fields and hanging out with the kids ! I learnt alot about Nepali life and Didi cooks the most amazing dhal bhat. The hours where flexible with the weather and task that were available. I'm very sad to be leaving but knowing I have a family here in nepal makes it easier ❤️

It was a wonderful experience, the family is very welcoming and kind, the Dalbhat is incredible thank to didi, the work was hard sometimes but very cool, you learn a lot about the life in countryside in nepal. If you pass by pokhara and you don't know what to do, Amkit Farm stay is a good option ;).

I spent 3 weeks here with my cousin and it was a truly amazing highlight of my year abroad. As soon as you arrive, the farm, Shankar, Hilary, Deedee and Binaju make it their mission to ensure you're part of the family. They teach you some local language, how to cook some local cuisine, how the locals manage their farm land in a sustainable way as well as take you to whatever local event is happening. It's the best way to learn about the Nepali culture and it's well worth the trip.

As soon as I arrived I was welcomed into the family. The work was at times challenging but very rewarding. Everyday we cut grass to feed the animals and some days did a bit more work from preparing greenhouses and ploughing fields. You get immersed in Nepali culture and meet wonderful people. the farm and Shankar took us to the Pokhara mud festival and taught us a lot about the Nepali way. The food was delicious (Deedee is an incredible cook and an even more incredible human). If you're looking to see the real Nepali way of life this farmstay is it! I will definitely be coming back.

The family gave me more then I could ask for. They gave me a home, a learning space and a true local experience. I'd recommend this farmstay to anyone that is ready to be open to be part of a kindhearted Nepali family. The tasks can differ from day to day but most of it takes place at the farm. You can take a rest anytime that you need it, because rest is the best! 🌅 Danyabad for the Dhal bat and the amazing week!💛☀️

I stayed with the Family at Ankits Homestay for one week. My time there was just the best, I enjoyed it so much. Everyone was so lovely and I felt at home. Most of the work was around the farm or in construction. The workload was not a lot so I had time to explore the area and the village or just chill. They looked after me so well and I ate the best dahl baht. My week with the family gave me so much joy and I could learn a lot. I would love to come back. 😌 Thank You!

I stayed almost two weeks with the family and it's hard to put into words how beautiful this experience was! Everyone is more than welcoming. It's just a few hours of work per day. Most of the time I really spent being with the family and learning about their culture. We had amazing talks, enjoyed delicious Daal Bhat, and I truly used my time to enjoy the silence, reflect, read and write. I highly recommend this amazing place and wish all of them nothing but the best! I'm so grateful for this experience! ✨

I stayed for two weeks at the farm farmstay and I felt like I could've stayed so much longer. My experience there was amazing, mostly due to the unique kindness of the family. They welcomed me warmly and I felt part of the team since the day I arrived. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the Nepali culture. The work was easy and we had a lot of free time to walk in the surrounding areas, play with the kids and relax. We were often outside. It is a good place to connect with peace and nature. The family's project and values are truly inspiring. 🌳⛰️🍵
