Sophie and Luke were very welcoming! They have a lovely family at the lodge, the kids will keep you very entertained! I worked both serving in the restaurant and housekeeping, it can be busy at times but overall not bad tasks at all. It's a great way to meet locals and internationals travelling.

Sophie and Luke where a lovely couple with very funny kids. The work was what you'd expect mainly housekeeping and waitressing. The views were spectacular and nice walks around about. The one downside is there is no cell service at all so no data and there was no WiFi in one of the staff cabins but I believe that is being worked on!

If you love hiking and nature and just finding a home away from home, the lodge is the perfect experience. Sophie and Luke were so welcoming and truly gave me the opportunity to make lifelong memories. Everyday, I had the chance to hike, enjoy the mountains, and meet amazing people. I'm so grateful and already miss it. ❤️

Sophie and Luke were amazing hosts. I felt at home with them and their family, the site is absolutely beautiful and you really get in touch with nature. I would definitely come back, thank you for everything you did for us :)

The lodge is beautifully situated and provides an incredible opportunity to connect with nature. Sophie and the whole team were nice and welcoming. Staff accommodation varies, you may or may not have wifi and heat (if there's no electric heating, there is a fireplace). It can be difficult to maintain a work-life balance, so be ready to advocate for yourself. Breakfast is self-serve, lunch and dinner are prepared reliably, but I would suggest planning to purchase your own food to supplement because the meals are often small and you may want more fruits, veggies, and meat.
