Our 8-day stay with Hassan was an amazing experience. Him and his colleagues took great care of us and I'd say we really clicked. The workload wasn't particularly rigorous and that left us with plenty of time to interact with the local community (at the cafes, market, bath house, soccer pitch, etc.) and explore the surrounding desert environment. Hassan and his colleagues were always happy to accompany us on these excursions and activities, which made us feel a lot more comfortable in the unfamiliar area. The rest of our downtime proved to be very fun and chill with Hassan.

That experience was life changing. I appreciated every moment with Hassan and his great friends, here you will find love, respect and caring for each other! The tasks are easy and you get free time as well but you have to keep in mind that the lifestyle is very different from the one that you can be used to. I think that this is the right experience if you want to challenge yourself self, if you are open minded and easily adaptable. I created amazing connections and friendships and I will come back for sure! Thank you Hassan for your hospitality and support!

My time here has been wonderful and I've had tons of fun. Hassan will do everything in his power to make sure you have everything you need and that you feel comfortable. As a person he is easy going and adjustable to any situation that might arise. He has introduced me to so many of his friends and I have gotten to meet other travelers that I hope to stay in touch with for the rest of my life. I look forward to coming back again ❤️

I am not into hand work and village life, but this experience is incredible! Although I only stayed for a week I feel like a family when I left. Time is Tagounite is peaceful and relaxing, I gained joy by helping others, and recieving kindness. I learned a little Darija and watched local wedding, funeral. We went to the desert and build fire. Most importantly I met many "unconventional travellers" who are insanely interesting people.i feel everyone gain different things in Morocco, if you have an open mind, you will find joy here.

My stay in Tagounite was very peaceful and relax. It's was a very authentic way to see Morocco, it's a town that has his struggles and it's very different from the big cities. The work bothered me though, I came to learn about building technics but had to move rocks around instead. The fundations have to be done before starting clay building. I've worked very few days and hours compare to what I expected. The charm of that place is that there is no timetable whatsoever, but that means you should be fine waiting for things to happen and one week was enough for me to see the place.

Hassan is a great human, humble but with a big, love heart and absolutely genuine. We met during the flood period when my first day's task was scooping water out of the house with him to defend the compound and guarantee our sleep on dry floor. Due to the flood loss almost all hosts and people of the village suffered lose of houses and household possessions. It was devastating and Hassan was really hurt after we saw his year-long projects with roof and walls fallen and water well filled with mud. He took a couple days to recover but we managed to go through it together like brothers

Hassan welcomed uns very warm by picking us up from the bus station. Even before he helped us finding the best route and tickets to get to his place. He gave us an amazing inside in the culture, history and love of the people. We learned about the traditions and Hassan made sure we will have a unforgettable time with lots of fun. The food was delicious and we spend so much time together and became good friends. We wish you all th best and hopefully we can come back soon!

Hassan is so nice and welcoming, i will definitely think about going back and it is a nice drive from marrakesh with a good half way stop in Ouarzazate. He is super flexible, easy to get along with and easy going. Even in the face of adversity he is a positive person and wants to learn about other cultures and teach you about his. I would definitely go back, if you want a true desert experience he even said we could sleep under the stars in the desert. Keep on mind it is hot. He is a dedicated farmer and friend.

My experience with Hassan was very eye-opening. He was incredibly flexible, understanding and communicative with my needs, and I think it would be difficult to find a way to live closer to a local life than with Hassan, from the food, the living, and the sense of community. That said, the living is rough, but any concern or preference I had was very well taken by Hassan. Thank you Hassan!
