For my first volunteering experience, staying at the hostel was truly incredible. Both the staff and the other volunteers made me feel at home. It's a very pleasant place where you have the chance to meet people from all over the world. As for the work, it's simple and not too demanding, and the assigned hours are always respected. The food offered by the hostel is delicious, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, it's an experience I would repeat.

I volunteered at the hostel for a month and loved the laid back vibe! The hostel is a beautiful colorful place with great common areas. The staff and the other volunteers were really friendly and the location is great - close to the city center. The rooms are a bit rough and sometimes quite loud but if that doesn't bother you, no worries! That said, the work shifts were great - you mostly get the tasks you ask for and the hours are respected. Schedule is really flexible and Kris and Matteo are great with communication and always find a solution :) thank you!!

I loved the experience. Here I applied to cook and I had freedom for my creativity in the kitchen. They give us space and we feel comfortable like home. Now I understand why a lot volunteer come Back here

I loved my time at the hostel. This was my first volunteering/solo travel experience so I was a littleee bit stressed in the beginning, but the moment I walked through the doors everything went so smooth and easy. The team and other volunteers were all really friendly, social and overall just such lovely people! Communication about work, hours or other stuff all went really good and smooth as well. They try to take preferences for shifts/hours into account as much as possible, so that was really kind as well. So overall, lovely people, lovely hostel, lovely city!! Recommend:))❤️

I love this place so much! Came for 3 weeks, and am staying for 3 months. Seriously the coolest hostel I've ever been in. Everything is exactly as described, the work is super reasonable, and the communication has been clear every step of the way. I've made forever friends with the other volunteers and really feel at home here 🫶 Can't recommend it enough.

Sadly, I realised big cities are not for me soon after arriving. Kris was extremely helpful and allowed ne time yo finf another placement and make a new plan. He was very kind and supportive. I couldn't have asked for more. The hostel is comfortable and clean and it attracts a good vibe.

I LOVED my experience at this hostel!! Communication throughout the entire process was so clear and helpful. I was made to feel so welcome, it was well run, my role was more than reasonable and it was such a lovely space to be a part of. This was my first hostel volunteering experience and it's made me so excited to keep volunteering and to revisit this hostel in particular. A wonderful opportunity to meet a range of people, explore the local area and get a taste of life in Albania :)

This hostel is the most incredible little oasis in the center of Tirana. I arrived and immediately felt at home here. Kris and Ilir have created such a cool space with wonderful vibes for all kinds of travelers! The work is easy, stimulating, and varied. I was going to spend three weeks here but loved it so much that I ended up staying for three months and am for sure coming back as soon as I can <3 I 100% recommend coming here, you won't regret it and you'll fall in love with all the amazing things that Albania has to offer ;)

My time at Tirana Backpackers was truly a life changing experience! Everyone was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful and it very quickly became a home away from home. Management was amazing and the work/hours were as described, but also fun and helped me gain useful life skills. This experience also gave me the opportunity to explore Tirana and Albania, and meet many life long friends. Thank you guys for everything, I couldn't be more appreciative !!!
