Program Details

Our community, is based on shared values of compassion, creativity, and sustainability. We welcome participants to join us for two weeks in July to help enhance the land, contribute to DIY projects, and cultivate a thriving, diverse garden.

We are a small community living in the beautiful South of Spain, where we’re dedicated to creating a sustainable, self-sufficient living space. Our project focuses on biodiversity, organic gardening, and environmental stewardship, with an emphasis on building a harmonious ecosystem that nourishes both the land and the people who care for it.

This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in a community committed to sustainable living and biodiversity. You’ll learn valuable skills in organic gardening, composting, and DIY eco-projects, as well as firsthand experience with self-sufficient living. In addition, you’ll be introduced to sustainable farming practices, animal husbandry, and the basics of permaculture.

Beyond practical skills, you'll have the chance to exchange ideas and perspectives with like-minded individuals in a relaxed, creative environment, surrounded by the natural beauty of southern Spain.

During your free time, you can relax by our two swimming pools, enjoy the warm weather, or take a dip in the jacuzzi. There’s also a lovely garden where you can unwind or spend time with our friendly cats and dogs. The town is a short 15-minute walk away, where you can explore local shops, cafes, and historical landmarks.

The stunning beaches are only an hour’s drive from the house, providing the perfect escape for a weekend outing. There’s also plenty of hiking and nature trails nearby for those who love to explore the outdoors. We are located in a peaceful part of the south of Spain, offering a tranquil retreat.

Activities & Shift

We’re looking for enthusiastic, hands-on helpers who are passionate about sustainable living, gardening, and DIY projects. The main tasks will include working with soil, building raised beds, planting crops, and caring for the land. You might also help us with setting up spaces for animals such as chickens and bees, as we work to create a truly living, breathing ecosystem.

The work hours are from 9:00 to 11:00 in the morning, and from 17:00 to 20:00 in the evening, with specific tasks planned for each team. You will be working alongside our community, contributing your skills and energy to our ongoing projects. You will have the rest off your days to relax and enjoy Spain and will also have two completley free days both week.

Participants will stay in comfortable, shared accommodations. We have rooms in our house and a spacious tent for outdoor living. The house is fully equipped with modern bathrooms, and the facilities are largely self-sufficient, featuring solar panels, wooden heating, and a large water reservoir. All participants will have access to well-equipped kitchen spaces to cook their own breakfasts and lunches, with dinners provided as a communal meal.

Rules

In our experience working with different individuals, we came to the conclusion that to be able to live in harmony together and to create a supportive environment that helps everyone to grow and evolve we need to establish certain guidelines.

1. The rules of our centre include the following:
- No drugs, alcohol or tobacco are allowed in the centre and our lands.
- The food allowed in the centre and our lands is only vegetarian or vegan. (No meat or fish)
- Violence is strictly forbidden

2. Communication and feedback:
We care a lot about having a good atmosphere and group dynamics. Working with people of different backgrounds can enrich all of us a lot, but can also create misunderstandings or interpretations that, eventually, could lead to problems. We want to avoid any experience of this kind by focusing on having clear communication and fluid feedback with each other.
