The experience

Join us in beautiful Salento, Colombia, and help us create the best atmosphere at our modern, youthful hostel. We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with various tasks, ensuring a vibrant and welcoming environment for our guests. In your free time, explore Salento’s stunning landscapes, hike through lush coffee plantations, and immerse yourself in local culture. Make friends from around the world and experience the hospitality.

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

What you get

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Requirements

Fluent English

Between 20 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

We expect you to be kind to integrate our guests, always have a smile, be attentive to our service, and address the needs of our guests regarding activities inside or outside the hostel.

Activities & Shift

You must be attentive during breakfast time and in the afternoon when we open service on the Mantra terrace to integrate our guests, organize different types of activities inside and outside the hostel, such as walks to Cocora Valley, coffee tours, playing tejo (traditional), hostel activities, salsa classes, dance, yoga, meet and drink, coffee tasting, and sweet Colombian bakery.

Always have the best attitude; inside the room, your behavior should be like any traveler, adhering to our rules. Maintain cleanliness in all aspects, as you will be a very important part of our guests' experience.
