Mural Painting, Gardening and Cleaning in a Vegan Community
The experience
Our project is reforesting with fruit trees at the edge of the Amazon rainforest, so by gardening, cleaning, helping with farm work and painting murals on our community's tables you will be supporting our reforestation efforts.
You will spend half of your time designing and painting murals on our tables, and the other half gardening in our vegetable and herb garden beds, cleaning the community spaces, and helping with farm work as needed.

Rules
Food stuffs,
We have usually abundant bananas, papayas and some citrus year round. Other fruits like jackfruit, marang, starfruit, rollinia, peanut butter fruit, soursop, ice cream beans etc which come and go seasonally, and various roots for cooking when it's harvest time. We do not have enough food producing to feed everyone. Supplemental food can be bought at the market. Whole fruit and vegan food is the only food we allow. No oil, processed sugar or processed foods (with some explicit exceptions).
Sleeping info,
We have spare rooms and beds, but rarely spare bedding to borrow so it is best to plan on either bringing bedding and buying sheets and a blanket or two in town for your use. We also have some bedding put aside for rent, it's $5 / week or $15 / month.
