I've volunteered at both locations now at the hostel on the hostel T the hostel. My time on the hostel was a chill vibe with a good balance of partying. Lexy the manager on the hostel was great to work with. I couldn't recommend the hostel TurtIe on both of the islands enough. If you are unsure on about volunteering, the hostel TurtIe is a good place to start, they are so welcoming and just brilliant to volunteer for.

My time at the hostel has been amazing, I've volunteered here before as social butterfly and now had the chance to come back as their yoga teacher for 8 weeks. It has been so great to get teaching experience to such a wide range of guests. You teach 1 class a day and help out during the breakfast shift 6 days a week. It's really social both with the guests at the hostel and the staff who you become really close with. Love the 2 owners and especially the manager Lexy who is always on hand to help out with anything and is now a great friend, can't wait to return again soon, miss you all :)

Volunteering at the hostel felt like finding a home on the road. The tasks are light, fun, and never really feel like work — it's more about being part of a shared rhythm with amazing people. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach, and the vibe here makes it so easy to connect deeply with other travelers. I met people who felt like soul friends and shared moments that I'll carry with me for a long time. The staff is absolutely incredible — kind, fun, and welcoming. We shared beautiful memories together, and they truly made the experience unforgettable.

My experience volunteering on the hostel was wonderful- everything I could have hoped for. The hostel team - staff and volunteers - were super welcoming and I made lots of new friends. There is a guide for volunteers detailing duties and hours so the roles are very clear and Lexy the manager is approachable, friendly and available if you have any queries. The location and facilities of the hostel are perfect - right behind the beach - and I did lots of snorkelling during my stay. My role was evening shift and I had lots of fun running activities and meeting guests from around the world.

Volunteering at the hostel was so far one of the highlights of my travels, Staff and management make everything clear and simple , goals and communication is very well defined , having a volunteer house outside the hostel is a big plus and it helps you to have your own space. Working hours are respected, everything that is offer it's given , I highly recommend this opportunity, staff and hostel vibe it's amazing you came as a stranger but leave as a family 🫶🏽✨ Thanks for everything to all the hostel Team 💙 you made this past month one of my favorites and I'll definitely comeback .

Volunteering at the hostel TurtIe was a wonderful experience. I met a lot of international travellers and made loads of new friends. The hostel it self was very welcoming and friendly. I especially enjoyed the evening Party Promoter role, as it was easy to socialise and talk to new guests and, also doing the snorkeling tour as I've done it 10 times. Overall the hostel TurtIe was a brilliant place and will always have a place in my heart.

Volunteering at the hostel has been so much fun! This hostel is really social and the events that are held each night (trivia, ping pong, etc.) are a great way to meet people. I've really enjoyed working the evening shifts and connecting with other travelers. The manager, Lexy is super warm, patient, and accommodating. the hostel is a very relaxed island and I'm so grateful I was able to use this Worldpackers opportunity to stay on this island for a few weeks.

I loved my time at the hostel. I stayed at the hostel location volunteering as afternoon social butterfly. Volunteer work was easy and really chill. The task were agreed upon arrival and they where exactly how described to me beforehand. I felt like home at the hostel was really hard to say goodbye to everyone. Everyone were so friendly and my manager was always so helpful if I had any questions. Definitely can recommend this place with all my heart ❤️.

I loved every second of my time at the hostel would do it again in a heartbeat! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Having a separate volunteer house was really nice to have our own space. The hostel itself is so lovely and the snorkelling and yoga were such a nice added touch!
