The experience

Mi hijo y yo vivimos en una casita de campo cerca del mar en Campello, Alicante. Necesitamos una persona activa y resolutiva que tenga práctica en pintar, dispuesto/a a trabajar en el jardín y cuidar de la piscina y jardin. Me gustaría crear un wáter seco. Tenemos un pequeño huerto. Si le gusta cocinar genial. Podemos compartir diferentes guisos. La idea es darle una mano de pintura al exterior y disfrutar. Y al mismo tiempo hablar inglés.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Beginner Spanish

Between 25 and 55 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Spain

European Union Passport

United States visa or citizenship

Travel insurance

Program Details

Tengo una casita de campo y necesita una mano de pintura por fuera. Además tengo una casita de madera que hay que barnizar. Tengo un pequeño huerto que revisar y cuidar y una pequeña piscina que hay que revisar para que mantenga el agua limpia.

Activities & Shift

5 horas diarias, 5 días de la semana.

Rules

Ser respetuoso con el espacio, con mi hijo y conmigo.
Cuidar la casa como si fuese suya.
Ser cuidadoso con los materiales que use y limpio y ordenado/a.
No se puede fumar ni beber alcohol en este espacio. Ni tomar drogas por supuesto.
