Chill night shift in a chill city
The experience
We want someone communicative and proactive to do basic cleaning and be available for guests who go out at night and get back late or late arrivals.
English might be the main language spoken with guests and Portuguese with the rest of the staff.
Some tasks may include check-ins, check-outs, making reservations and cleaning the pool, basic bathroom cleaning, and controlling the bar stock.

Program Details
We offer an exchange of expertise which is why we don't call this "volunteering" but "Collaborative tourism".
We expect the tasks to be fulfilled within the hours of the shift since there's plenty of time and night shifts in the city are quite chill.
In exchange, we offer products that guarantee a meal (either breakfast or lunch). Free tours around the three border regions, the city of Foz, and the Iguaçu Falls. Tips on good reviews with your name on them and commissions on tours you sell. Besides this, there are some extra activities such as "hidden clients" in some partner clubs and restaurants (tasks that you get paid for).
We'll grant you some training and provide you with manuals so you know where to look for information in case you needed.
We are flexible with dates and schedules.
Activities & Shift
Some of the tasks include:
* Making reservations on the system.
* Registering payments from guests in the house.
* Basic cleaning of bathrooms (just making sure they are clean for the early birds)
* Twice a week we clean the pool and it's better to do it overnight when no one is using it.
* Controlling the stock of the bar and selling to guests who are awake.
* Opening the doors for those guests who are arriving late or the ones who left the hostel for parties
* Just being nice to guests.
All of these tasks take less than 30' each. There will probably be more time free than working.
Rules
We make our guests and volunteers sign a set of rules that just help everybody to co-live in peace. This helps to keep the house tidy and prevent conflicts of co-living.
