Teach practical English in the countryside of Hanoi, Vietnam

Really enjoyed my volunteering experience here. The place is quite busy, we have to prepare lesson plans, classes, pre-class activities, and even review and edit videos afterward. It's a great environment for anyone who wants to learn a lot about teaching, teamwork, and interacting with locals. The accommodation is very nice and modern, comfortable, clean. The host also provides bicycles for volunteers, which is a great way to explore the surrounding area, enjoy the scenery, and try local food. It's a perfect balance between work and local adventure.

Mie and Sean are kind, warm and welcoming people and it's a pleasure to watch them teach with patience and care. They host a team meeting to ensure everyone knows what's expected of them. The tasks are mostly preparing educational materials, sometimes an online support session or sitting in with a class. All meals are home-cooked and there are plenty vegetarian options The house is state of the art and freakishly clean. There are bikes available so you can explore the area and its many coffeeshops. I recommend biking to Duong Lam! It's a perfect place for some calm in between travel.

I had a wonderful experience. I loved my life the school with Sean and Mie. Both of them helped me a lot, and the kids at the school were so lovely. I enjoyed every moment of this volunteer program. Sean and Mie even took us to the school mountain and the lake, despite working hard and not having much free time. They showed us great hospitality from the beginning to the end. If I hadn't booked a flight ticket, I definitely would have asked them if I could extend my stay. I truly hope many more wonderful volunteers will visit them and have the same experience as I did.

I had the best time the school working with Sean, Mei and the team! Sean and Mei were incredible hosts, the accomodation and classrooms were great, and the food was delicious. Teaching was always a lot of fun and the kids were very enthusiastic to learn. Huge thanks to Mei and Sean for taking us out on adventures on our days off, and to Sean for including us in his family dinners! I also loved meeting other travellers from around the world. I hope to return in the future :-)

I had such a wonderful time with Sean and Mie! Everything about this position was better than I could've imagined. The room they provided was fantastic, the food was excellent every single time, and the work was fun and easy to complete! The work we had to do was quite simple and directions were easy to follow. We had (almost) every meal together and spend that time chatting and getting to know each other. We would spend our day off doing something fun together and they made sure everyone was welcomed to join and this created such a nice little bond between the other volunteers. 10/10!

My experience here was absolutely incredible! From the very first day, I felt welcomed and cared for. The hosts are truly amazing people — warm, generous, and always ready to help with anything. They made me feel like part of their family, and I'm so grateful for every conversation, every shared meal, and every laugh we had together. The place itself is beautiful and filled with positive energy. Every day brought something new to learn and enjoy, and I genuinely appreciated the balance between work, cultural exchange, and time to explore. I'm deeply thankful for all the moments we shared.

I am so glad that I chose this volunteering opportunity, since the first day I enjoyed teaching the kids. So the tasks are easy and well delegated , every morning you know what you have to do and at what time , so you can plan your day accordingly, the main tasks were making courses (easy but you have to give quality in that) , editing videos (easy) and teaching english (very fun ). The accommodation was very comfy and luxury haha. The host Sean , always make you feel comfortable and always eager to know about your culture. Mie and Quyen , very friendly and supportive. Also the volunteers 🫶

I really enjoyed my time the school Bavi ! Teaching the kids was a fun and meaningful experience, and I always felt supported. Mie, Duong, and Quynh are super friendly and understanding, and you can see how much effort they put into the work to make it perfect for the kids. They made me feel comfortable from the start and they even made sure to provide meals that respected my needs as a Muslim. I'm thankful for their care and support and happy I got the chance to be part of their project 🥹❤️❤️.

Good experience in the countryside of Vietnam. Mie, Sean, and Quynh were nice and took an effort to get to know the volunteers. The work was nice sometimes it was editing videos, making worksheets, recording videos, etc. The hosts also have bikes that you can use to go around the village.

Tess, we're really sorry we didn't manage to write you a review on time. It was a very nice experience to host you. Tess is commited to the work and always let us know where she stopped in her tasks. She's organized and embraces structure. Thanks for you time with us. :)
