The experience

Seeking volunteers who have a love for or desire to experience homesteading on a small organic farm. We can set you up with your own cabin. Tasks are mostly centered around animal care (some chickens and ducks producing eggs to eat, cats, dogs and even a rabbits.
The garden system is innovative and easy to maintain giving daily vegetables for you to enjoy. There is always a fruit tree or two in production too.

What you offer

14 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Pet Sitting: Taking care of and looking after pets.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 5 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Materials for volunteer activities

Description: This fee allows us to maintain and share a high standard of nutrition with all guests. It also helps cover incidental things like wear and tear caused by volunteers.

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

Volunteers take turns feeding the small animals including chickens, ducks, rabbits, 2 dogs and 2 cats. This happens twice per day. We like to start just after sunrise, work an hour, then enjoy a tasty farm breakfast..

Tasks will gardening and makntenance of spaces clean.

The kitchen will be stocked with ingredients and spices. There will also be a float of money for you to manage your own shopping from the contribution given. Plenty of nearby restaurants if you are feeling lazy.
