The experience

Join us in West Portland, Jamaica, and help bring a beautiful eco-friendly project to life! 🌿🏑

You'll assist with light tasks like:

Building a small house πŸ› οΈ

Planting and watering trees 🌳

Using a lawnmower and trimmer βœ‚οΈ

Cleaning up the property and managing trash ♻️

Light painting, if needed 🎨

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Beginner English

Between 21 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We provide a clean private room with your own bathroom πŸ›οΈπŸšΏ.

During your free time, I’ll be happy to show you around some of the beautiful spots in the Portland area 🌴🌊. It’s a great opportunity to experience local life, explore nature, and relax in a peaceful setting.

Activities & Shift

You’ll volunteer for about 5 hours a day, Monday through Friday.

Start time: 7:30 AM ⏰

Weekends are free to relax or explore the area! πŸ–οΈ

Tasks include light building, gardening, property maintenance, and occasional painting.

This opportunity is not suitable for insomniacs, lazy individuals, or people with disruptive behavior
