This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I feel like I found a home away from home. Carleigh and Colin are so kind and warm, they make everyone feel at home and comfortable. They take the volunteers out on fun weekly outings, you won't be bored here! The work is fun and varied, they take their time to teach you so you're comfortable with what you're doing. If you're considering this Worldpackers experience; do it (and get ready to eat good, you will never go hungry here). I can't say enough positive things about this place, Carleigh and Colin to do it justice. I can't wait to go backđŸ©·

Carliegh and Colin are very good hosts, I felt very comfortable in the house sharing experiences and opinions, my English is very bad but I have always felt listened to and I appreciate that. It is entertaining, the different tasks that have to be done every day, it is a new challenge and new projects, but without a doubt the best project they have is their beautiful children, who play and run outside all day, it is admirable the way in which these children are growing. A very good experience, I think I learned a lot about real Canadian culture.

Carleigh and Colin are amazing hosts who make you feel right at home. They're easy to talk to and ensure a perfect balance of work and fun. While daily tasks like cleaning the horse paddocks and maintaining the house are a part of the routine, they consistently introduce exciting projects to keep things interesting. Despite its rural location, they ensure weekly trips to town for shopping and karaoke. Our experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend volunteering with them.

Being in the farm was an amazing experience, Carleigh and Colin are beautiful people and always make you feel welcome, they are very easy to talk and make their best to make you feel comfortable and help you. I had a really good experience at the farm, it's a really big and pretty place even when I wasn't use to the weather. About the job sometimes the job was a little hard and very physical but I'm pretty sure everyone can do it. It's really important to consider that there are anything close to the farm and it could be a little hard try to find something to do in your freetime

I feel that my expectations were well prepared for the experience i would get here. Great people and very comfortable to be around/live with. Intentional about giving the volunteers a good experience and going on little adventures all together!

Had a great time with Carleigh and Colin! Learned a lot about myself and my strengths and weaknesses. I'd highly recommend the experience to someone who enjoys building stuff and overall doesn't have a problem with physical labour. Their kids are wonderful and full of energy and I adored taking care of their horses. Only thing I'd say is that if you're looking specifically to do horse riding I'd look elsewhere. BUT if horse riding isn't a priority and you want to learn what happens in a horse trainer's life and overall get an insight into western riding, then definitely do the experience đŸ„°
