Lena and Alex literally opened their home and welcomed me with their family. The tasks seem like a lot but it's actually very easy and once you know what to do you will finisb everything super fast. I loved spending time with Loki and playing with him. the hostel is big but you still have a cozy and home-like feeling. The language barrier can be hard sometimes but I was able to learn and improve some Russian and there is good communication with everyone.

I volunteered for several months here and I am very happy and grateful. I started with cleaning and then with social media and entertainment, a really colorful and beautiful first volunt. They're always open to new ideas and dialogue, something very valuable for me. Thank you Lena, Alex, Valya and Vika for welcoming me and walking through this little piece of my life with so much love. Thank you for everything shared, the delicious food, the warmth, the fun, the laughter and for doing all kinds of ideas, photos and videos! Thank you Worldpackers for making these great experiences a reality!

Elena and Alex have big hearts and are hospitable not only to the volunteers but also to many other travelers. My stay at the hostel allowed me to share and connect with many people from different countries and make the hostel there. The food was plentiful, and the work was quite independent.

Elena and Alex are people with whom you can talk about everything. Thank you Elena for the daily soups πŸ₯£ and the food; and of course for the shared puzzles. Thanks for the opportunity, it was a pleasure to meet them and help them with the repairs and improvements in the hostel, which is their home. I particularly enjoyed building the little house for Loky πŸ• and knowing that I left that mark 🐾 The girls are lovely and I enjoyed spending time with both of them. I must also and that I enjoyed relaxing in the sulfur baths.

The good part of volunteering in the hostel was Elina went above and beyond to make the food work for me, which I really appreciated. the hostel has a wonderful vibe and is close to the city center, making it super convenient. Kutaisi itself is a lovely, quiet city, perfect for exploring and relaxing.

It has been a great experience! I felt at home since the first day with Elena and Alex. That's also why I decided to extend my staying much more. I would recommend to anyone to come here as a volunteer: great people, cozy and welcoming hostel.

As a social media volunteer I had flexible working times and a lot of freedom of creativity for creating different reels and photos. It was my first volunteering experience and I enjoyed it! The hosts are very nice and always open for fun activities like game nights, trips or dinners together. It's definitely an advantage if you speak Russian as it facilitates communication, but they also speak some English, so it's not a must :) Thank you Elena and Alex for this experience!

The host was unwelcoming and uncommunicative. The advertised dinner wasn't provided, and when I mentioned it, the host looked uncomfortable to provide it so I didn't want it. I felt excluded most of the time as they spoke Russian among themselves and the vibe just didn't feel like I was part of a community. Feeling unwelcome with dinner not included, I left early and tried to give feedback, but the host dismissed my concerns as just "feelings" and not facts which made me give up trying to help her to have a better experience with future volunteers.

Dinner was included on condition of its organization, this was your task of this vacancy, you did not invite anyone, but you were still offered dinner, but you refused. It would be nice to do some work that was part of our agreement. For my part, I provided housing and breakfasts, but I only saw 2 videos and one photo from you for almost a week of "work". I have employees who speak different languages, they cannot speak in your comfortable language in your presence, they spoke to you in English, you still need to understand that you came to Georgia, we did not expect that you would speak Georgian with us :). I was not at home almost all day, so I gave you my telegram so that we could better understand each other, but you ignored it and had strange conversations with my employees. If you feel that you are not coping with the task or feel uncomfortable in something, it is better to talk about it and not invent your own version of what is happening. And there was no need to bring 2 puppies from the street to my hostel, it was very irresponsible and childish.
