Join us in the Jungle teaching our staff English!
Many of our staff want to pursue a career in Hospitality and Tourism, and they are aware just how valuable English is as a language for this path. As such, we are looking for a kind, patient and experienced teacher to help them on their journey.
Successful candidates will show a keen interest in teaching, exceptional grasp on the English language, and a kind and patient nature.
What you offer
30 hours of help per week
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Requirements
Fluent English or Beginner Spanish
Between 25 and 38 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)
Be from outside Guatemala

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
Program Details
We are aiming for consistent lessons for the staff that choose to do it over the month or longer that you will be with us. So typically working out to be 1 hour lessons, 5 days a week, for each staff member who wants to join.
Activities & Shift
5 consecutive days a week, with hours potentially organized around shifts of the participating staff. This may lead to a an hour or 2 downtime during your shifts, which we will try to limit to keep your day for dragging out. Some hours will be allocated to allow preparation time, decided based on number of participants.
Rules
No Drinking or Drugs on shift
You must be punctual and respectful of everybody's time
Failure to complete the month without previous agreement on cancellation between all relevant parties may result in forfeiture of some or all volunteer benefits, depending on severity of reason for departure.
