This was my first worldpackers experience and it was so much fun. I loved all the people I met and I truly recommend this experience to anyone looking to reconnect with nature, meet new people, and overall just have a great time working at a nice hostel. I hope to be able to return one day!

Volunteering at Hikers Paradise and the hostel exceeded my expectations in every way. The tasks were simple — changing bed sheets, reception, cleaning— but the overall experience was so much more than that. I had a great time, met many fascinating people, and truly enjoyed every moment. What I loved most was the location — you can go hiking in the mountains almost every day! 🗻 Big thanks to Lisa for being incredibly helpful, patiently answering all the questions, giving great hiking recommendations, organizing fun activities for the volunteers and making the place feel like home ❤️

I had a amazing time at Sherpas/hikers hostel. The people I met here I grew to love and the experience surpassed my expectations, by the end of my two weeks I was sad to leave. The jobs are not difficult and leave you plenty of time to go hiking. Lisa was great at writing me little notes every day with what tasks I had. Would definitely recommend if you love hiking !

My stay at hikers paradise hostel was really lovely. i met so many people, and almost all of them i hold really close to my heart. the tasks are very doable and you have time hike in the beautiful the hostel. i will especially miss sherpas hostel… its like a home!:) i would recommend this if you love to hike and like to socialize. loved it- would go again:)

I loved my experience at the hostel!! The first week of my stay was a lot busier as we helped open Hikers Paradise but other than that the jobs are pretty straightforward and allow for a lot of free time. The location is also incredible so I got to do loads of hiking in the hostel after work and on my free days. The hostel itself feels like home and has the best atmosphere, the hosts are lovely and it was great working with them all! I hope to come back one day ;) Thank you Lisa, Marian and Mato 🤍

It was a great experience! Tasks were simple and as described: mainly making beds, cleaning, helping guests and reception. We had lots of free time to explore the mountains, even on work days. Lisa was lovely, flexible, and made sure everyone was happy and had hiking time. They couldn't pick me up at the station, but the train stops 2 minutes from the hostel. The nature and mountains r stunning, just keep in mind it's a tiny town with one shop and no nightlife. Thanks Lisa, Mato and Marian!!

I really enjoyed my time in Sherpas. The place feels cozy and just like home. I also helped to reconstruct the other hotel nearby. I also went there during the day to clean. The work hours were respected and the work wasn't hard and it was fun. The nature there is beautiful and I spent most of my free time hiking in the hostel. Thank you Marián, Michal and other volunteers!

I really enjoyed my stay in Tatranská Štrba, because it is perfect for hiking and meeting new people in the hostels. The first week of my stay was more challenging bacause they were just opening a new hostel and there were a lot of things that needed to be done, but in the second week the work didnt take much time and we could catch so many trips. Thank you to Marian, Michal and other volunteers.
