Volunteering at the host was an amazing experience. I had the chance to teach English, which was both fun and rewarding. The students were eager, friendly, and easy to teach. Meeting volunteers from different countries was a highlight, as we shared and learned from each other's cultures. Big thanks to Fouad and Nada for the surprise birthday party. I am also grateful to the reception team, Yunus and Ceyda, for their warm welcome and for making me feel at home. Heartfelt thanks to the teachers: Evo, Norah, KJ, Salma, and Mustafa for being so friendly, helpful, and supportive.

The host is a lovely place with great people. The work is fun and definitely makes a difference. As other reviews say, the organisation of accommodation (and food) is quite poor; if you are uncomfortable with your accommodation/if does not met the requirements in worldpackers, you must assert this and keep pushing to get a change. Overall I still had a great time and recommend this place. Thank you the host 😊

Fuad, Nada, and the team are extremely kind and welcoming Fuad was also exceedingly understanding when I had to leave a week early. The students are super endearing and I miss being there even now because of the bonds I built with a number of my students in just one month. It is super easy to feel truly stuck in almost immediately, which is incredible. Challenges: My very rype-A personality struggled with the go-with-the-flow vibes because I'm a planner. Female volunteers stay with hosts which can require considerable flexibility. Volunteers MUST assert themselves and their needs at times

I enjoyed my time at the host. The tearchers, students and staff are so nice and friendly. I got the chance to talk in English with different people and learn about their lifes and culture. I was lucky to stay with a lovely Turkish family who treat me like their daughter. I think there's room for improvement in the communication about the schedules and expectations. They also rely on the students families to host the volunteers, so this could greatly affect the experience and be unpredictable. You'll have to consider transportation time and money to the host daily. It was a good overall

My time at the host was incredible. I got to teach English which was such a fun experience. It's such a great way to learn English as it's fun and non stressful for the students! We got to learn about different cultures and see Gaziantep. They are also very interested in learning about the volunteers cultures which is super fun! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. I truely enjoyed my time here and I was so sad to leave. Thankyou my the host family you've made my time in Turkey amazing and made me feel extra special for my birthday I hope to return 🫢🫢🫢

The host was a very welcoming and fun social environment :)) the community was very international, the staff were very helpful and the students were fun to teach and interact with! it was my first time teaching and i loved the learning process! i think the communication before and upon our arrival was a bit limited/unclear (regarding the accommodation and meals) but it all worked out. also Fouad and Nada are very flexible and understanding hosts so they were always open to a conversation if needed. overall I had an amazing time and experience in Gaziantep with truly wonderful people!

It's a very enriching experience.πŸ₯³ I loved the opportunity to be exposed to so many cultures, not just the volunteers. In this space, you'll meet people from Syria, Egypt, etc., who live there and are part of the community. Seeing their interactions was amazing and a great way to learn about human history. One of the best things was learning how to teach, which I didn't know, and it was nice to develop that skill. It's a peaceful, family-oriented community. Fair hours, and I had a lot of fun. My only comments are about the organization and the quality of the food. Still, an amazing place! 😍

The host stands for its name, surely it's a unique place where long-lasting friends can be made easily, and people from all cultures and different backgrounds can converge in just one place. What a wonderful experience! There are not enough words to tell how thankful I'm with all the people I met here. Fouad is a great host, and a fantastic friend. He took care about everything I needed during my stay here, he even gave me medicine when I got sick. Nada is a wonderful woman, full of creativity and professionality, I learned a lot by working with her on social media. You won't regret it
