The experience

Join us in beautiful Victoria and have fun gaining experience and managing a campervan rental business , so the ability to drive a standard vehicle is mandatory. You'll also be part of our hospitality team during downtime on the campervans. Plus, you’ll have the chance to meet and connect with travelers from all around the world!! Minimum 2 months!


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Pet Sitting: Taking care of and looking after pets.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Between 18 and 35 years old

Program Details

- Campervans:
We have 3 campervans available for rent that need to be organized, prepared, and presented to guests. This includes explaining how everything works, such as, the fridge, cooler, and pop-up roof, etc. You must be a car lover, someone who enjoys driving and spending time around vehicles.

I'm looking for someone who is a quick learner, can work independently, and is willing to take initiative. There’s always something new to learn every day. I'm also open to hearing any suggestions you might have for additional projects that could be helpful or fun.

- What’s Included:
You’ll be staying in a cozy bed inside one of my Westfalia campervans that are parked at the property (Many people love it! Such a fun and unique experience!) or a private room to call your own. I also provide basic cooking supplies (rice, lentils, pasta, tomato sauce, peanut butter, jam, eggs, etc.), a fully equipped kitchen, and laundry access. It’s really helpful if you enjoy being social — I think of my property as a high-end hostel. People visit from all over the world, and it’s so cool to meet them and hear where they're from!



Activities & Shift

Shifts usually start at 8:00 AM. Sometimes those vans need to be picked up in the afternoon, so the schedule is pretty flexible depending on the day.

Volunteer tasks will mostly focus on the campervans, making sure they’re cleaned spotlessly and ready for the renters. Some days there might be no vans to clean, so we’ll need your support with the Airbnb side, getting the rooms ready before the 3:00 PM check-in. If guests leave earlier, you can get your tasks done promptly and have the rest of the afternoon to explore the beautiful city of Victoria!

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure vans are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Drive and maintain the vans, making sure they’re ready for rental.
- Explain how the van works to renters (fridge, cooler, pop-up roof, etc.)

Occasional Responsibilities:
- Support Airbnb through housekeeping tasks.
- Regularly clean and organize shared areas such as washrooms and the kitchen to provide a comfortable guest experience.
- Support with household waste management.
- Houseplants need watering once a week or as needed, and the outdoor garden is watered every 3 days.


Rules

- Ability to drive a manual (standard) transmission vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be independent, detail-oriented, and able to work flexible hours.
- Vegetarian house, no cooking meat allowed.
- Non-smoker and non-drinker with a healthy lifestyle.
- Experience in gardening, housekeeping, and animal care, especially with cats, is preferred.
- Familiar with social media platforms for business use is a plus.
- I'm passionate about what I do in my business, so I like to keep things to a high standard.
