I loved my volunteer experience with the children. I really enjoyed being able to contribute, even just a little, to their education. I had the same group all week, and the project are absolutely adorable!!! My stay at Dayu's place was perfect!!! She welcomed us as if we were at home, and we had so much fun. The food was more than excellent, and there was always plenty of it haha!! We laughed a lot and built strong bonds. I loved it and I will definitely come back!!!

I feel lucky that I got the chance to live this experience. Volunteering at the school was enriching. The children are curious, ready to learn and very affectionate, which made the experience even more special. Day by Day, you gain confidence and your link with the children is getting stronger. Staying with Dayu was truly unforgettable. She has a heart of gold, welcome us like family, and cooked the best balinese food! She became our Balinese mother, and we are so sad to leave her. Thank you to Suri, Dayu, Yuli and Putu for this wonderful experience 💓 we will come back!

I absolutely loved my time volunteering here!! I got to learn and immerse myself in Balinese culture, which was truly incredible. My host, Dayu, was amazing!!! She is truly an incredible woman and I hope that I can come volunteer again so that I can stay with her! She is an incredible cook with a big heart. The children at the school are very sweet, energetic, and excited to meet new teachers. They are very young (around 3-4 years old) so not much real learning goes on, however, it is still incredibly rewarding. I completely recommend this experience!

I had the most wonderful experience teaching English with the kindergarten students, they were lovely, disciplined, and full of joy. The fellow teachers were very supportive, which made everything more enjoyable. My homestay was equally special, the family was welcoming, kind, and full of energy, I truly felt at home. The food was delicious, and their hospitality unforgettable. I also decided to da 36-hour fast, and my host was very caring and supportive throughout. This experience will always stay in my heart, thank you for everything.

Volunteering at the project was a pleasure! the project are lovely, and most of them really make an effort to communicate with you, even though they're not fluent in English. Suri is incredibly dedicated to the project and made us feel very welcome from the start. Dayu, the host, is truly like a mum away from home! She does everything she can to make you feel welcome and comfortable. She also cooks traditional Indonesian food, which adds an authentic touch to the experience. Weekends are free, giving you the perfect opportunity to travel and explore the area. Highly recommended!

The children are so affectionate and excited to interact with volunteers. Suri is passionate about improving the school curriculum and open to feedback. The host, Dayu, is truly a gem. She goes the extra mile to ensure you have a comfortable stay and cooks great meals! It was a pleasure to be able to experience the local Balinese culture.

My experience was amazing and I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to be close to local people and learn about the culture! Dayu is an incredible person, so lovely and dedicated, her food is really tasty! There is a lot of free time and you can enjoy exploring around the place, there are fantastic spots to go! The school part was a bit challenging since there's no fixed schedule and most teachers don't speak English, so it was hard to teach. For this reason, I don't know the real impact I was able to bring to them. However, I really appreciated spending my time with them <3

My time volunteering in the kindergarten was amazing! You can choose the age group you want to work with- there are 3-5 year old classes, and then a primary school which you can also choose to help at. My role was basically to assist with the class, helping guide students and run activities! My teacher Soni was amazing, she made me feel welcome and respected in the classroom! Suri is also great and easy to communicate with. The best part of this experience no doubt was the homestay with Dayu- she is so sweet, my Balinese “mom”, who welcomes you with open arms and always makes sure you're fed!
