The experience

Hello! We are an English school, a language school in Guanajuato, Mexico! We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Native English-speaking teacher to join our team at our school in the heart of Guanajuato. This position offers a unique opportunity to support Americans in navigating Mexican culture while teaching English. This position can be for as long as you need it to be, although a minimum of a month's commitment would be preferred.


What you offer

12 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

Hello! We are seeking a Native English speaker with excellent communication skills to help teach English language classes and help American students navigate the culture. We have been operating in Guanajuato for over 30 years and are the oldest language-learning school in the city!


Activities & Shift

- Conduct English language classes for students.
- Assist American students with cultural integration and adjustment.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Classes of other types are also welcome (dance, cooking, crafting, etc.).
Whatever you are passionate about and want to share, our students would love to learn!
-Your shifts will likely be between 1-4 hours long a day, depending on student needs
