Program Details
Our home includes a small BnB (https://www.airbnb.it/h/aranattic), a cozy attic of less than 30 square meters. It typically accommodates two guests, but with the sofa bed, it can host up to three or four people.
Your main responsibilities will be looking after the BnB and pets, along with overseeing small maintenance tasks or projects. We estimate that around 21 hours per week will be enough to cover everything, and we’re happy to tailor the specific tasks to your skills and interests.
We will personally handle all guest communications. However, you’ll be our co-host and have access to the Airbnb calendar and messages in case you need to check details or communicate with guests.
Activities & Shift
# MAIN TASKS
- Prepare the BnB for new guests (around 3 times per week): This includes cleaning the space, changing sheets, and making everything fresh and tidy.
- Prepare dinner and/or breakfast if requested (only occasionally): If guests request it, we provide them with a breakfast or dinner basket. All meals are vegan, and we’ll share some of Cristina’s classic recipes for inspiration! Basic cooking skills are required, but no need to be a master chef. 😉
- Feed the dog and cats: A super quick and easy task—just about 10 minutes per day!
- Drive guests up or down the mountain if requested and if you feel comfortable driving on dirt roads. This is optional but can be very helpful for both guests and yourselves during your stay.
# OTHER TASKS
- Take care of the garden (weeding, maintenance, watering, harvesting, and freezing vegetables when needed).
- Other small household tasks, which we’ll discuss together based on your skills and the weather conditions.
Rules
Keep the house (inside and outside) clean and tidy at all times.
The house is fully available to you! You’re free to use our kitchen equipment, though we don’t provide food. However, if you prepare meals for guests, you can deduct that time from your total working hours and, of course, use ingredients from our pantry.
