Program Details
Join our eco-farm family and help maintain our beautiful garden, abundant with eggplants, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, and playful cats. Your main tasks will include watering, planting, and harvesting the vegetables we grow and serve fresh from the garden to your table. Additionally, you'll assist with general cleaning and preparing our cozy short-term rentals for incoming guests.
Activities & Shift
The main task will be to maintain our beautiful garden. For the gardening, this will include watering, planting, and collecting the plentiful vegetables we produce. These will be the same vegetables that you can eat and that we will serve for you! Direct garden to table. Additionally, you'll help with general cleaning and setting up beds for incoming guests.
Shifts will generally be in the morning, depending on the weather and the needs of the day. You can take any two days off during the weekday.
If you don't have much experience with gardening or hospitality, I will teach you and work with you so you too can be a master gardener and learn what it takes to run an ecotourism spot! I have helpers on hand who can help you too.
Rules
We expect you to bring enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in gardening and hospitality. Being reliable is important, as well as having a positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of our team. We also hope you'll embrace the opportunity to connect with nature, enjoy the fresh produce you help cultivate, and contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our guests.
