This is a volunteer program that combines community service, cultural immersion, and adventure. What you offer
22 hours of help per week
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.
Music:
Perform to entertain guests, children or local communities.
Tour Guide:
Organize and lead tours around the city.
Party Promoter:
Help organise and promote parties and social activities.
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Team Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Tent:
You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.
Free Hiking Tours:
We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Take part in our Permaculture course for free.
Certificate:
Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details
What We Expect:
- Commit to a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks
- Actively participate in teaching, music performance, tour guiding, and cultural immersion activities
- Be flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment
- Respect local customs, traditions, and way of life
- Possess basic English language skills
- Maintain a positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning and sharing skills

Activities & Shift
Daily Activities:
- Teaching:
- Prepare and deliver lessons (2-3 hours)
- Assist with student activities and projects (1-2 hours)
- Music Performance:
- Practice and prepare performances (2-3 hours)
- Perform at local events and schools (1-2 hours)
- Tour Guiding:
- Prepare and lead tours (3-7 hours)
- Assist with tour logistics and planning (1-2 hours)
- Cultural Immersion:
- Participate in local cultural activities and events (2-3 hours)
- Engage with host family and community members (2-3 hours)
- Administrative Tasks:
- Attend team meetings and planning sessions (1 hour)
- Assist with program planning and development (1-2 hours)
Shifts:
- Morning Shift: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Note:
- Shifts may vary depending on the specific activities and events scheduled for the day.
Rules
- Be prepared and on time for all tours and activities
- Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for outdoor activities
- Bring necessary gear and equipment for tours and activities (e.g. water bottle, sunscreen, hiking boots)
- Follow the instructions and guidance of the tour guides and activity leaders
- Respect the natural environment and wildlife during outdoor activities
- No littering or damaging of natural habitats
- Follow safety guidelines and instructions during adventure activities (e.g. gorilla trekking, boat cruises)
- Be respectful of local customs and traditions during cultural activities and tours
- No photography or video recording during certain activities or in certain areas (as designated by the program leaders)
- Follow the program's guidelines for responsible travel and tourism
- Be considerate of other travelers and hosts during group activities and tours
