Hello! We are looking for a fit, enthusiastic, and energetic chalet host to join us, December 2025 to entire winter season, approximately 5 months. We manage two mountain chalets in the beautiful and bustling ski resort of Livigno, Italy, a popular winter vacation destination. We need assistance with guest stays (check-ins/check-outs), communication, cleaning apartments, laundry work, & maintenance/organization tasks.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

About Us: We manage Chalet Baita Zelda in Trepalle and Apartment Gembro in Teola, Livigno — two cozy, self-contained properties that host international guests for skiing, snowboarding, and winter holidays. Livigno is a duty-free alpine resort with an incredibly long ski season, lively après-ski, and this year it’s part of the Milano–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics & Paralympics, hosting freestyle and snowboarding events.

Would you love to spend the winter surrounded by snow, mountains, and ski slopes — while helping run a cozy family-owned chalet in Livigno, one of Italy’s most famous alpine resorts?

We’re looking for 2 motivated chalet hosts (a couple, or two friends, or individuals) to join us for the 2025/26 winter season, starting December 2025 until the end of April 2026 (possible extension to early May).

This is a work-exchange style role, ideal for those who love mountain life, meeting people, and want to experience the Olympic atmosphere in Livigno without paying the high accommodation costs of this special year.

Activities & Shift

Your Role: You’ll help us manage daily operations of the chalet and assist with light online work for our digital platform KaterBlue.com, a global maritime & travel services portal.

Hosting duties include:
- Greeting and checking in guests
- Light cleaning and preparing apartments
- Laundry, bed making, and organization
- Basic DIY and maintenance (changing bulbs, touch-ups)
- Coordinating with management remotely

Digital tasks (during quiet days):
- Online research & data entry (e.g. listing updates for KaterBlue)
- Language translation or content assistance (depending on your native language)
- Social media support and basic admin tasks
- You’ll typically work 4–5 hours a day, 5–6 days a week, depending on guest turnover.

Duties include general hosting tasks; communicating with guests, checking them in, handling cash payments if any), washing sheets and towels, cleaning apartments and preparing them for the next guests, conducting inventory checks, & general maintenance, etc.

What You’ll Receive:
This is a part-time work-exchange engagement, not a conventional full-time job, ou’ll receive a Free shared accommodation (heated studio dormitory, kitchenette, Wi-Fi, bedding, lockers), Free utilities (heating, water, electricity, Wi-Fi), Season-long Livigno ski pass (after the first month), a reasonable Weekly stipend for solo host or for two people jointly applying. Full use of chalet amenities including kitchen, bathroom, laundry, Experience certificate / reference upon successful completion
