The experience

If you love off-grid living, our lakeside lodge is perfect for you!
We have 18 cabins, 6 glamping tents, and a converted school bus.
We're looking for volunteers to help us with cabin cleaning as well as the below duties:

Composting, garbage pick-up, recycling, maintaining outhouses and showerhouse and making sure grounds are kept clean.

In your free time, enjoy kayaking, fishing, cycling, hiking, and relaxing by the bonfire!

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

We are looking for friendly easy going people to join our lodge this summer. We ask for 25 hours per week in exchange for groceries, accomodation, non-motorized boats and borrowing fishing rods. We also have bicycles that you can use and firewood for bonfires!
We generally have 2-6 people here at a time and the atmoshphere is a lovely combination of ecclectic individuals from different countries.


Activities & Shift

5 hours per day 5 days per week.
Duties:
Cabin Cleaning
Picking up garbage around camp
Washing dishes when required
Making Firewood bags with kindling
Cleaning outhouses, BBQ's and Communal Areas
Organizing Recyle Depot
Composting
Landscaping
