Join our team in the stunning Sarganserland, Switzerland! Nestled near the serene Lake Gigerwaldsee, our alp property offers a unique volunteer experience. Help us maintain our property, while immersing yourself in Swiss culture. What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Activities & Shift

Volunteering with us in Sarganserland, Switzerland involves a variety of activities:

Cleaning: Help maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of our alp property. Tasks include sweeping, mopping, and general upkeep to ensure a pleasant environment for everyone.

Kitchen Hand: Assist in the kitchen with meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning. Support our team by helping with chopping vegetables, washing dishes, and keeping the kitchen organized.

Teaching Languages: Share your language skills with our team and guests. Conduct informal language lessons and conversations, fostering cultural exchange and learning.

Shifts: Volunteer shifts are flexible and can be arranged to fit your schedule. You’ll have plenty of free time to explore the beautiful surroundings, hike, bike, and enjoy the tranquility of Lake Gigerwaldsee.
