Program Details
We expect a minimum of two weeks stay with us. Volunteering over 8 weeks needs to be discussed. The accommodation is either in a caravan, a private room or glamping tents (summer). You will also have a shared kitchen and bathrooms. We have a small pool, a pond and a sauna.
In winter season, we start the work around 9. During the hot summer season (June-August), we usually start very early (around 6-7) and finish the work by lunchtime. It can be very hot during the midday and afternoons. Each day will start with a short brief of the daily tasks, same at the end of the day.
We will host a maximum of 4 volunteers at the time, but it is possible that you will also be the only one, depending on the week/month.
Activities & Shift
The tasks can vary depending on the priorities in your volunteering period. In general, we invite you to participate in our veggie garden project, maintenance of the young trees and the garden area. In addition, we have three Kune Kune pigs and 4 Cameroon sheep who needs a daily feed and checks.
The work is 5-6 hours per day/25 hours per week.
