The experience

Come help our Village project in Talalla, Sri Lanka, is designed for volunteers to experience sustainable living. What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Materials for volunteer activities

Program Details


Join the Eco Ring Village Volunteer Program in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and immerse yourself in a unique experience dedicated to sustainable living and environmental conservation. Our program offers hands-on involvement in various activities, including organic farming, renewable energy projects, eco-friendly construction, and waste management. Volunteers will live in eco-friendly accommodations and participate in educational workshops and skill-building sessions.

Activities & Shift

**Eco Ring Village Volunteer Program: Daily Schedule (Monday to Friday)**

**7:30 AM - 8:30 AM: Breakfast**
- Enjoy a healthy, organic breakfast.

**8:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Morning Work Session (3 Hours)**
1. **Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Organic Farming**
- Planting, harvesting, and composting.

2. **Tuesday, Thursday: Landscape & Eco-Friendly Construction**
- Engaging in landscape design and building eco-friendly structures.

**11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Break/Free Time**
- Relax or explore the village.

**12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Lunch**
- Enjoy a nutritious, communal meal.

**1:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Afternoon Work Session (2 Hours)**
1. **Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Renewable Energy Projects**
- Installing and maintaining solar panels and wind turbines.

2. **Tuesday, Thursday: Waste Management**
- Implementing recycling and composting programs.
