The experience

As a host in Zanzibar, I am seeking enthusiastic & dedicated volunteers to assist with our community-based educational project.
Teaching Basic English, Computer Skills And Arts: Volunteers with/without a background in teaching or a strong grasp of English and basic computer skills are welcome to help teach local youth. Your role will involve creating lesson plans, conducting classes, and providing one to one support to students

What you offer

3 hours of help per day

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: Volunteer will be contributing $10 dollar which will go towards water and electricity bills, maintenance

Beginner English or Beginner Swahili

Between 18 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

this volunteer program is much based in education where by our volunteers teach English and computer but also help the community projects

Activities & Shift

The daily activities is teaching, and the shift is on evening class where starting 4:30 pm to 6pm and last shift is from 7:pm to 9pm

2. *Work Hours*: Help out for 3 hours a day, 4 days a week, and be punctual.

4. *Keep It Clean*: Maintain cleanliness in shared spaces and observe quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM.
5. *Engage Positively*: Participate in activities and interact positively with the community.
6. *Use Resources Wisely*: Be mindful of water, electricity, and other resources.
7. *Communicate*: Keep in touch with coordinators and let us know if you have any issues or need to leave early.
