We highly recommend this opportunity. The host, Soni, is so kind and helpful. She always thought about us when organising the schedule, and helped us with everything. She was so friendly and we loved sharing time with her. The location of the house was ideal, next to the subway station, and close to the guest house area and multiple parks. We also had plenty of time to visit the city and make plans. If you are hard working and organized, this experience is for you.

This experience was great for getting to know Seoul, Soni was a great host, very attentive and caring with us since day 1. We had some weeks with more free time, and some a bit more intense, but Soni lets you know in advance if anything which was great to plan out day/night activities! (writing this from the perspective that we did this as a pair(me and my sister)) We were lucky we had a great roomate, she made our stay real special as well!

10/10!!!๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸBeing these past few months with Soni have been amazing. She is very flexible and lovely host and friend! The work is easy and flexible too. Regarding the accommodation, you have a room for yourself and transport is super well connected(so is the guest house street club, being a 20 minute walk from our home). I will be staying with Soni until the end of my working holiday visa (October). I am really looking forward to meet future volunteers!

My experience was truly terrible. When I saw the ad I thought it would be the place to stay and keep cleaning. The place to stay isn't the same of the pictures: you have a small accommodation in the basement of one house. There's no way to dry your clothes because it's super humid. The job definitely isn't what we have on the ad. You need to clean some Guest Houses around Hungdae neighborhood and to get it you need to carry on a BIG and SUPER HEAVY bags with all of your supplies. By walk. You need to carry on the dirty bed linen, get laundry and go back. They said 3 days free but isn't true!

Experience as a couple working the same shift :) It was a pleasure working for Soni. The work is simple but you need to be very clean. You will be very independant (we liked it a lot) and Soni is always available to answer your questions (even help you with local life). However about the hours, we mostly worked around 18/20h per weeks with only 2 days off. But I bet its different if you are alone. The flat where we lived was very convenient with everything needed ! Would recommend it for solo traveller who dont need to meet new people ๐Ÿ‘Œ

I had a great experience volunteering with Jisun! She's very kind, helpful, and flexible, and her clear instructions made the job super easy. Cleaning the units usually takes around 2-3 hours if you're quick. The accommodation was the best I've hadโ€”a very comfortable private room. This isn't a social place since you work alone, but I appreciated the quiet time to recharge. If you're looking for a calm and flexible experience with excellent accommodation, I highly recommend volunteering here!
