My really enjoyed my the lodgeexperience :) The family and team are very welcoming and social! They were respectful and truly appreciated me and the other volunteers. There was a problem with another volunteer but I cant comment fully on a situation that is not mine. Work tasks were figured out after arriving and were simple and flexible. I learned a lot from the locals and was great for different cultural immersion. Also perfect if you love nature, there's short/long hikes, even with work you will always have time to explore. I miss everyone and the place a lot, hope to see you all again soon! :)

Huge thanks to Donny and the rest of the team atthe lodge. the lodgeis a solid volunteering opportunity. The work is as agreed, 4-5 hours 6 days a week either preparing breakfast or waitering in the evenings. If the weather is good there are amazing hikes and water holes surrounding to property. The hosts go to a lot of effort to make sure you're comfortable and have everything you need, from taking you into town for supplies to organising taxis to and from hike locations. My only draw back is the property is isolating and the local town doesn't offer too many opportunities to fill the down time.

Had a lot of fun during my stay inthe lodge! The staff were really open-minded towards the volunteers and I felt appreciated. I have a lot of respect towards their good mind set when it comes to serving people with joy and reverence. The locals taught me a lot about everything and I'm grateful for that. I felt respected and it was wonderful to work with such ambitious people. If you consider to work in this place, remember to keep up the good mentality and treat people with kindness. Eventually, the kindness will come back to you! Thank you staff for everything and see you soon!<3

My experience in the lodgewas great, Doni and all the staff were super welcoming and nice. There was a great flexibility for the days off and the work is pretty chill, you will understand your part after a couple of days. I would totally recommend this to other people who like nature and hiking since the place is historical and beautiful 😊

My experience at the lodgewas amazing. They welcomed me as part of the family, everyone was kind and adorable. Shifts, tasks, and meals were as agreed. My room was nice and the place is surrounded by nature: you can make beautiful hikes in the surroundings. Just a few things need improvement in my opinion, probably because they have just started accepting volunteers: at the beginning and since before my arrival, communication wasn't clear about the pickup and my tasks, which I figured out by asking around but nevermind cause they were easy and everybody was friendly and ready to help🥰

Edoni and his family were really welcomed, not all of them speak english but even without knowing they try to help. The place is amazing really beautiful u can go to hike to theth or do other hikes. If u like nature this is a good place to be. The beedroom is ok. If u want to buy something you have to go to Gusinje is like 45 min walking or 10 min in car. 🥰 I enjoy my stay here

It was a very good experience! Edon and his family welcomed me and treated me very well, as did the staff. Tasks are light and schedules are respected. Having so much nature around and being able to go on beautiful hikes were many plus points:).

Doni and the other staff were very welcoming and helpful whenever I had questions or needed something. The communication on how to get there before the trip was not that great, so I think they can improve that aspect. The tasks weren't hard and you quickly discover what needs to be done. It was a great opportunity to learn the culture, meet the locals, hike and connect with other travellers. Overall it was a great experience, however I think it is best to set personal boundaries with the family. They treat you like friends rather than employees so I would keep this in mind when applying.

Overall a great experience! The family is extremely accommodating; they treat the volunteers like guests who provide help. I got injured while hiking and they brought me to the doctor and made sure that I was better. The work isn't difficult and I enjoyed my shifts. There were a few situations of “drama” with volunteers that made me feel uncomfortable. I didn't agree with how staff handled these; therefore I would recommend maintaining strict personal boundaries with staff. This is a fun experience, I hope all volunteers enjoy it as much as I did :)

The place is surrounded by nature and is perfect if you love hiking. Everybody is welcoming. Working hours are respected but amount of work depends on how many guests they are receiving and sometimes it gets overwhelming. You can always ask for help and recieve it, but most of things you have to figure out by yourself. They are also opened to feedback and suggestions. Also lack of communication in the beginning was felt and if not for other volunteer I would have been lost for few days for sure. Overall it was an interesting experience
