Hello :)
We run one of the top hostels in the heart of Merida, México, and we're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to be part of our team, by helping with reception and cleaning, and social media.
Immerse yourself in the rich culture, history, and beauty of Merida during your free time. Connect with travelers from around the world and create unforgettable memories in the Yucatan!

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate Spanish or Intermediate English

Over 21 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Academy Course How to become an outstanding Worldpacker

European Union Passport

United States visa or citizenship

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Activities & Shift

Volunteers would help the day to day operations such as admin, cleaning, beds (no lundry), check-in, reception. social media

Rules

No drugs or smoking in the hostel.
Personal hygine is important (people that enjoys washing their clothes and having a shower is welcome).
