The Experience

Our bed and breakfast, located in the countryside of Italy, is full of life and peace at the same time. We are a family business and we love to cook with our guests and volunteers, but to cook nice Italian meals, we need your help to build a better kitchen. So if you have some technical experience to lay tiles (or other kind of experience on building), your place is with us! We would love to host you!

The host: Enrico is very nice calm person, very kind and gentle.
He is very professional and you really don't feel any pressure, which makes you feel at home!

The Work: From Gardening to light constructions (LA FACCIATA! :D) and also some order at the B&B, there's a lot of work to do and it's FUN!

The Place: La Selvatica is unique, well designed, equipped, nice quiet area around it
GO THERE if you want to experience a good welcoming staying!

Ti ringrazio molto per tutto, sei veramente un amico per me. GRAZIE!

La selvática was a great experience. Firstable Enrico is an amazing human who made me feel at home since the first day, he provided me all the necessary information even before arrived. We worked as a team and he really trust and was grateful everytime with all the work I was doing. If you like nature, this is a good place to connect with it, good landscapes to photograph. And is a good way to live the Italian life, I improved my Italian and my kitchen skills. I'm really grateful for this experience and I hope go back again once. Greetings Enrico & pablito.

What a wonderful experience we had! Enrico welcomed us and treated us so well, we felt at home. He is an excellent host. He is a peaceful, generous and kind person. It was always nice to spend time with him and Pablito, his son. He also cooked us delicious meals. I helped with the housework and Fernando built a pizza oven. La Selvatica is a calm and happy place, we loved to stay there. There are some cities near to visit and it is also a great place to ride a bike. We wish we could have stayed more time. We are very grateful for this experience and we will miss Enrico and Pablito. Grazie!

La Selvatica is a magical place, full of life and stories. I'm so lucky that I could spend some time there and get to know so many incredible people. Enrico is an amazing guy, really hard working, who does everything by himself to improve the place each day, and is always patient to explain everything. The main tasks are really simple, but there's always something to do around the house, and I always felt like doing more to make the place even better. Even though it's on the country side, it's only a 15 min bus ride away from Modena. The only bad thing was that I couldn't stay longer! ♥

Enrico hosted me at La Selvatica for a week, and in that time we became fast friends. I was able to lend a hand in return for his gracious hospitality.

Mostly I worked independently of Enrico while he performed additional restorations.

La Selvatica has plenty of thoroughfare and is a great way to meet people from all over the world.

This is a veritable oasis in the desert, not to be missed if at all you should find it on your journey.

I would suggest this experience to anyone wishing to spend time outside of the hectic life of the cities you will invariably visit while in Italy.
